Foi num ambiente fantástico que o jogo de sábado decorreu, salientando-se não ter havido incidentes de maior com os adeptos da Bósnia, conforme se temia. Mais uma vez aquele estádio foi talismã. O hino nacional foi cantado com enorme vibração, como já não se ouvia há algum tempo. Can Braga prove ‘the Special Two’ wrong?

Last season Sporting Club de Braga's manager Jorge Jesus stated that the only way they would ever win the league would be on a Playstation. They had just been beaten by Benfica in Estadio da Luz 1-0 to an offside goal and had been denied two clear penalties.

It was a bodyblow that Braga would not recover from and they ended up finishing 5th but gaining their sixth consecutive appearance in Europe, a feat few clubs in Portugal have equalled.

If reports in the Portuguese media are to be believed Rodrigo Possebon, who was loaned out to SC Braga, has returned to Manchester. Google translate is not the best, but according to this link, he's been axed because of a squad trimming exercise by the coach.

I also saw it mentioned on the United Youth site in its roundup of our loanees.
