It was a tedious morning of "Henry is a disgrace" and "Henry, Eduardo, we investigate the cheats in
football." Then BBC Radio Five Live decided to get Republic of Ireland assistant manager Liam Brady
on. Liam sounded as if he had not slept for a week. But he spoke slowly and clearly, and utterly
refused to be [.
Classic schoolboy prank from Gunners Airports can be pretty dull places, but not when the cheeky
scamps from the Arsenal Supporters Club Bulgaria are on hand. Allegedly waiting at Sofia airport to
greet Gunners legend Liam Brady as the Republic of Ireland team landed, the group had also come
armed to play a prank on Spurs [.

Ground-sharing, although commonplace in the rest of Europe, has always been something of an
anathema in England. The very existence of both Liverpool and Everton started with a row over
rental rates at Anfield. Everton had baulked at an increase in rent at Anfield, which led to them
leaving for Goodison Park and the ground's owner John Houlding forming a new club, Liverpool FC, to
play at the stadium.
Cristiano Ronaldo is fearless. Take this picture for example. Is that a man purse? No it
is not.
It is a tote bag a man is using to carry his personal belongings in. A purse is much more
feminine then this item and this, sir, belongs to a world champion footballer.
So now that we've got that out of the way you know Real Madrid's record signing doesn't fool
around.
One of the most striking things about the youth setup at Arsenal is the way that the "Arsenal
way" of playing football is inculcated into the very fabric of the Academy structure. All of the
players share the same vision and have one abiding common characteristic. A high degree of
technical ability.
Former Ireland boss Brian Kerr has again criticised Current Ireland manager Giovanni
Trapattoni over his stewardship of the national side. Kerr said Trapattoni's idea of watching
players club games on DVD was a "load of baloney". He added that for the Italian to attend
‘a dinner here and there' displayed little regard for the well-being of Irish football in
general.
It looks like we could finally have some good goalkeeping news. Ben Foster hasn't had the
best of times in the Man United goal but now we could have Edwin Van Der Sar
back.
Van Der Sar is set to return for Man United's reserves against Everton today. trip to the Stobart
Stadium, Halton in Widnes kicks off at 19:00 this evening.
Having played a key role in Arsenal's FA Youth Cup final triumph over Liverpool yesterday and
made a number of impressive appearances in the Carling Cup for the first team, it comes to no
surprise many are tipping young Jack Wilshere to become a star.
Speaking to setanta.com, Arsenal legend Liam Brady said:
He is a special kid.
Former Arsenal legend Liam Brady warned the North London club that it will not be easy to get
past Celtic in their Champions League tie this month.
He said:
Our players have been all over the continent but they will never have experienced anything like
it. The atmosphere at Celtic Park is unique.
Ireland assistant manager Liam Brady has said that former Ireland manager Mick McCarthy had
"thrown them a dummy" over the availability of Kevin Doyle for Ireland's friendly against Australia
on Wednesday.
Speaking after the team trained in Tipperary today, Brady said that Doyle would be able to play for
45 minutes on Wednesday.
Seems like a whole lot of past and present Arsenal connections have played or are playing a very
influential part in the France vs Ireland match and its aftermath.
The latest is Liam Brady calling FIFA for a replay which he says would be only fair given that
it was a clear handball by Thierry Henry that set up William Gallas equalizer.
Morning all, good to see the Thierry Henry stuff has blown over. Erm ... I wouldn't normally
bother but I think it's only fair that someone tries to counter the lies and the hysteria. He's not
one of ours now but he was and he was one of our best. Plus it's kinda quiet.
The Mirror:
Liam Brady last night branded Thierry Henry "shameful" after launching a bitter attack on FIFA
for fixing the outcome.

Jack Wilshere is a 17 year old midfielder for Arsenal. He can play both left
and right midfield or as a supporting striker. He was one of the youth players who scored in 6-0
rout of Sheffield United.
He started in Arsenal's Hale End Academy when he was nine years old.
Liam Brady believes Ireland have got world champions Italy worried simply because of their
choice of venue for Wednesday night's Group eight qualifier.
The Irish squad headed out from Dublin this afternoon for the Group Eight clash with the Italians
at the Stadio San Nicola in Bari having conceded a two-point lead to Marcello Lippi's men as a
result of their 1-1 draw with Bulgaria at Croker on Saturday night.
Ireland take on Bulgaria in a World Cup 2010 qualifier on
Saturday at Croke Park, Dublin in a game that could have a massive bearing on whether the "Boys in
Green" can get to South Africa.
Bulgaria will always occupy a prominent place in Ireland's football history because of the
historic events of 1987.
When: Tonight, 7:30pm
Where: University Field, St Leo campus
For two weeks in a row, the Lions (2-0-1) have been close, but have not been able to break into the
top twenty-five of the NSCAA Division II poll. Hampered by three cancelled matches and lightweight
opposition in the games they have played, the St Leo women haven't gotten any recognition for their
undefeated start.
Irlanda o Kuwait.
foto).

The QPR youngster Raheem Sterling is considered one of the most promising young strikers in
English football a the moment, and today's Sun says that he is close to agreeing to sign for
Arsenal after talking to the Gunners youth supremo Liam Brady.
It seems that Liverpool and Man City have also made overtures to QPR, who could expect about
£750,000 in compensation, but Arsenal are now favourites to sign him, especially as he won't have
to move from his home in North London.
Big Story
When I was 15 or 16, I interviewed Brighton & Hove Albion manager Liam Brady for a
school magazine piece that never got published (the magazine never made it to print), and found him
to be an amicable and thoughtful man oddly willing to listen patiently and answer a school kid's
long-winded questions about his time playing for Juventus and what he thought of Fever Pitch.
Ireland assistant manager Liam Brady has blasted FIFA president Sepp Blatter for revealing
the supposedly confidential details of a meeting with the FAI.
Speaking at a conference in South Africa, Blatter stated that the Irish had enquired at the meeting
as to the possibility of being invited to next summer's World Cup as a '33rd nation' after their
controversial play-off exit at the hands of France.
