Anyone who has ever watched Sky Sports News on either August 31st or January 30th will already
be well acquainted with Jim White; the insufferable, eardrum-rupturing Scotch twat that covers the
deadline day vinegar strokes, booming away like a foghorn as, say, Bradley Orr arrives at Blackburn
for a routine medical, etc, etc.
The transfer window for English club's slammed shut last night at 11pm, with Everton grabbing
former midfielder Steven Pienaar from Tottenham on-loan on the final hour.
Harry Redknapp one of the shrewdest managers in the transfer market surprisingly
signed injury prone Everton striker Louis Saha, also in the final hour after
losing Roman Pavlychenko for £8m to Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow .

Arsenal have signed this guy to partner RVP. Alive and kicking?
If you are an Arsenal fan, your level of excitement should be deader than a dodo.
Wayne Bridge goes to Sunderland and Arsenal can heave a sigh of relief. Ravel Morrison, the Man
Utd teenager with a self destructive streak but the skills of a young Paul Scholes, goes to West
Ham.

Good to see Liverpool register a home win again after three draws at Anfield, thanks to a Luis
Suarez header on 47 minutes.
It was a game where Liverpool threatened to run riot only for the goalkeeping of Chezney to keep it
at 1-0.
Kenny Dalglish said after the game that Liverpool played fantastic football but he would like to
see them score an awful lot more goals.
The story surrounding QPR so far this season is how their first game should be treated
like a mulligan. The story goes that since the ownership change and subsequent decisions by the
brass to, you know, actually spend money, QPR now has a solid, bona fide squad.
Which they do. But the fact that what we may see on Sunday is somehow completely and utterly
different from their squad on Opening Day is just false.
It's our first away trip to QPR since 1995 and we're in dire need of a better result than the
1-0 loss we suffered that day after the downbeat nature of our Carling Cup exit.
With Darren Bent and Emile Heskey injured, here's how the managers will go looking for three

Skysports.com understands Queens Park Rangers have made an enquiry regarding Liverpool outcast
Philipp Degen.
The Switzerland international appears to be surplus to requirements at Anfield after struggling to
make an impression during his time at Liverpool.
He was beset by injury troubles in his first season at the club after arriving from Borussia
Dortmund in 2008 and spent last season back on loan in the Bundesliga with Stuttgart.
