A few things stood out this past EPL season opening weekend. First, apparently it's called the BPL? No, it'll always be either the Premiership or EPL to me. Sorry, Barclays. Money-grubbing bastards.
Second, Liverpool won their opening day match on the road at Villa. I honestly thought this match would end in a draw, but the Reds were thoroughly dominant and did something that took them about half the season to do last year: they won away from Anfield.
