John Nyen spurs a more interesting relationship between Donovan and Dempsey than
"foil."
....or did they?

What is UP, Arshavin! According to Spanish newspaper, Sport,
occasionally loco striker Andrei was seen on Monday in Barcelona, ??where
he went to shoot a sports commercial (just like Neymar did last week) in the city. And you can
officially put the 'Arshavin to Barcelona?
Roberto Soldado ... need we say more?! If there was a man Valencia needed to
serve up the best paellas to it'd be Senor Soldado himself. While the
focus has largely been on Real Madrid and Barcelona winning their World Club Cup trophy last
weekend, we've decided to devote La Liga Lunes to the Valencian striker who scored
twice against Malaga last night.
John Nyen on illusions of the Euro game
The guy on left easily carries the American Express Black card...and nothing can dent it.
"I am a fan of the American model. The European model cannot be sustained without new
parameters, commercial parameters that allow competition, that allow revenue distribution, and that
will allow talent to continue to prosper.

Liverpool FC overcame a gritty Wolves side at Anfield to end their run of two successive defeats in
the BPL. So here's what I think won Liverpool FC the game....
It had to happen sometime. Arsenal were like a slow train not really aiming to be 10 minutes too
fast to beat off the other competitors. While the rest of the world made way for faster trains,
they went their own way, making up ground on an empty piece of track. While rust and the dust
accumulated because of stopping at all stations, admiration also grew as the train managed to pick
up cargo for a few years in spite of the there being better trains.

Steady as usual. Made a great fingertip save on a rising shot from Armando Cooper in the 70th
minute that preserved the score line for the United States.
Jose Mourinho's affection towards the Premier League is not a secret, the current Real Madrid
coach has always speak highly about his experience while managing Chelsea and ensuring his love
towards the league, recently Mourinho confirmed that his next destination is coaching a team in the
BPL.
Being a new league especially in a tougher competition surely will give some problem for any
player, including Manchester City's January arrival, Edin Dzeko, who arrives from Wolfsburg this
January rated as one of the most exciting talent in Europe football. So far, Dzeko's performances
haven't really justified his 32 million Euro price tag as the Bosnian international has only
managed two goals from eight appearances for the Eastlands.
I haven't seen Michael Bradley smile in...maybe ever actually. Some people call him Robocop because
of his all-business demeanor & chrome-dome but I'm sure the guy has a laugh every now and then
-possibly when people report that his old man has given a farewell speech to a team he's not been
fired from for instance.
