On the road tonight, so I thought I would re-run an interview from February looking at the MLS
schedule. Back live tomorrow.
Ever Winter, Major League Soccer releases its schedule for the upcoming season. In addition to
setting out the slate of games, the initial release sets out the national television schedule,
establishes breaks for FIFA dates and gives fans an opportunity to plan their Summer of soccer.
It was a crazy week for those of us on the Nos Audietis team. On the field, we were overjoyed to
see the Seattle Sounders win both of their games in relatively convincing fashion. But we were also
a bit bummed to learn that Adam "MCA" Yauch had lost his long fight with cancer. To help salve
those wounds, we used a ton of Beastie Boys music and brought in some pretty heavy hitting guests
on this week's show.
Why spend you hard-earned money on green beer this St. Patrick's Day when you can have something
waaay more epic and long-lasting. Bumpy Pitch, the California-based soccer lifestyle brand, has
dropped another limited edition shirt for the upcoming "drinking holiday". But it's much more than
that.
"One of the greatest things about the experience of owning a business is the
experiences that you get to have along the way.

We thought it would be worthwhile to talk to Brad Pursel, Major League Soccer's Vice President of
Club Services about the process of putting together the league schedule.
U.S. Soccer released its "Best of" nominee lists for 2011 (link to Facebook voting). Categories
from "Male and Female Athletes of the Year", "Best Goal", "Best Fan Moments" and the like are all
up for grabs.
The one that concerned us the most was the "Best Twitter" account which featured loads of USMNT and
USWNT players and a few big media accounts.
So, you'll soon be reading my two-post series at FoxSoccer about the US, and US soccer, and our
twisted, bizarre, schizophrenic, and bipolar relationship with Mexico and Mexican Americans. I give
Fox credit for letting me be candid, honest, and frank about both sides of the equation I address
how and why Hispanics have been somewhat excluded in the current US setup.

Over the years we've brought our camera to all corners of the globe and trained it on the beautiful
game (and plenty of other things). Photography is a fun little hobby and a great window to the
world around us.
It is GSL purchase time in MLS again. With the 2011 All Star purchase window closing, we
thought we would revisit an interview we did with Brad Pursel of MLS about the Guaranteed Seat
License program.
For the last few years, MLS has offered its fans the opportunity to purchase a "Guaranteed Seat
License" for the MLS Cup and MLS All-Star game.
