Okay, now I can see why Sir Alex complains about our dressing room. I don't agree with
the whining, but my alma mater, the tiny Division 3 Goucher College, had a larger locker-room. My
girlfriend said her high school's smallest locker-room was still bigger.
It's all over for another year and in case you're wondering we're 107 days away from the next
bank holiday and long weekend. Kill me now!! What a festive period we've had though, with three
wins out of three, two clean sheets, 5 goals scored and two red cards. I haven't updated much
because quite frankly I haven't had the time or inclination to do anything between watching Spurs,
other football, darts, pulling all nighters to watch the Ashes and eating more food than a really
hungry fat man.
Blackpool vs Liverpool 12th January, 2011 Bloomfield Road, Blackpool 19.45 UK kick off This
Blackpool vs Liverpool game is actually a rearranged Boxing Day fixture. It is also Kenny
Dalglish's first league game in charge of Liverpool in over 20 years. Blackpool, for the record,
beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield a few months ago.
Blackpool vs Manchester United Bloomfield Road, Blackpool- January 25, 2011 Final score:- Blackpool

from Manchester United allows the Red Devils to beat Blackpool 3-2 at Bloomfield Road after
trailing 2-0 at the lemon break.
Brand Beckham definitely has cracked the Asian market now! North Korea treated its citizens to a
Boxing Day TV screening of Bend It Like Beckham. Martin Uden, the British ambassador to South
Korea, claimed on Twitter that it was the "1st ever Western-made film to air on TV" in North Korea.
He also claimed that [.
A great deal of confidence was undoubtedly restored at Stamford Bridge and our slide toward
oblivion apparently halted. At least for a while. Tonight, with Sunderland coming to Villa Park,
we'll see whether there's enough fire burning in this team to launch an ascent back up the
table.
The CEO's backed the manager, the assistant manager has backed the team, now it's up to the
players to show that they really do care.

Alan Pardew wants Newcatsle to do well in the FA Cup this year, and will be fielding the strongest
side he can tomorrow afternoon at Stevenage. Tim Krul gets another start tomorrow But with all the
injuries Newcastle players have picked up over the last 10 days, since the holiday season

Fancy a bit of Charlie?
According to those bods over at Sky Sports News, Liverpool are near as damn-it to
submitting a £3.5 million bid for Blackpool's influential schemer Charlie Adam
(thus gazumping Blackburn, Aston Villa and Birmingham, who all had £2.
Depending on who you support and how passionate you are about your club, I'm sure there would be
plenty of disagreement regarding which is the biggest Premier League match of the today. With
Sunderland and Newcastle United as well as Birmingham City versus Aston Villa already in the bag,
our attention today now turns to Liverpool against Everton followed by Tottenham Hotspur versus
Manchester United.
One facet of this season I've found to be a bit peculiar is the seeming lack of narrative.
Usually by this point in the season the pieces of the puzzle are coming together.
For me, last year was all about Europe. The year before, we watched and wondered about what Roy
could do with his first full season at the helm.
The Fighter: "Irish" Steven BeattieEnough of that wacky rap music street jive, Toronto FC is doing serious business... yo! Major
League Soccer held the 2011 Supplemental Draft today and Team Winter was busy doing what Mo
Johnston rarely did - team building. For those of you who don't know what this draft is all about,
think of last week's SuperDraft as the exciting Boxing Day sale where all kinds of goodies are up
for grabs.
Chelsea barely survived Everton in the first match of the FA Cup fourth round, a harbinger of
what was to come for the Premier League's big five. Yes, Manchester United and Arsenal are through,
but between a late comeback, a red card, and some dubious theatrics on a match-winning penalty
kick, each had their problems getting through to the fifth round.
