Fulham have revealed their home kit for the 2010-11 season. The new kit is manufactured by Kappa
and was designed in their research and development center in Turin, Italy. It maintains Fulham's
classic look of a white shirt with black trim, but the first thing that fans will notice is the
unusual sponsorship plastered on the front of the kit.
Stoke once again have compounded the critics and not only avoided the dreadful "second season
syndrome", but actually improved their points and placing from last season. It's a fantastic
achievement for the club and its passionate and noisy fans. I have to say that as an away fan at
either the Brittania Stadium or the old Victoria Ground, listening to the Stoke fans regal you a
blast of "Delilah" is an experience you have to witness.

Portuguese side Sporting Braga have approached Arsenal about signing keeper
Eduardo. The 27-year-old, who had an impressive showing in Portugal‘s World Cup
run, could be signed for £3.4m, which is his release clause.

Anton Robinson opened the scoring for the newly promoted home side, Bobby Zamora equalised with
his head. Both goals came in the first half. And Fulham still don't have a gaffer. That's all
really.

In a time when all is not going well for Manchester United, they were dumped out of the FA
drastically by a League One side. Leeds put up a spirited display and defeated the former Premier
League Champs 0-1 at Old Trafford. Sir ALex Fergusson was one of the first people to critisize his

Ireland international Marc Wilson has committed his future to Portsmouth by signing a new
three-and-a-half-year deal with the club.

Sheffield Wednesday crashed out of the English football Championship after there disappointing draw
with relegation rivals Crystal Palace at Hillsborough earlier this afternoon. The Owls were
desperately seeking the victory that would have relegated their opposition but fell short of the
mark in front of some a passionate home crowd.
With Boro's league season over and done with and the FA Trophy Final not until next weekend,
it's been a rare 2 days off, so I've been looking at the results in some of the other leagues and
getting a preview of what life in League 2 will be like next season. League's 1 and 2 played out
their penultimate games of the season yesterday, while today was the final day in the
Championship.
Spurs manager Harry Redknapp was one of many European players who came to the US to play in the
late 1970s. Redknapp began his management career with the Seattle Sounders as a player-assistant
manager. Prior to this, Redknapp earned notoriety playing for teams such as West Ham United and
Bournemouth.

The former Liverpool FC captain Jamie Redknapp has urged the club to appoint Kenny Dalglish as Rafa
Benitez's successor, suggesting he, like all Kop fans, has been hurt by the club's malaise this
season.
Liverpool FC are currently in the process of finding a new manager following their decision to end
Rafa Benitez's contract, and although Dalglish is currently leading the search alongside Christian
Purslow, Redknapp believes the aforementioned Anfield legend has all the necessary credentials to
reignite Liverpool's flagging fortunes.

According to the Daily Mail, Blackpool manager Ian Holloway is

also reported that Holloway plans to make a £700,000 bids for Pitman, who has also drawn interest
from Reading and Bristol City.

Before I move on, I should say that this week's Thursday Preview was scheduled to be Southampton's
trip to Milton Keynes. I had opinions to vent after seeing the Saints play last week (albeit from
the comfort of a Canterbury pub), and a grim fascination in how the club were going to move on from
the sad death of owner Markus Liebherr.
James Henry (Millwall)
High hopes were set for Henry while at Reading, but injuries plagued his chance of regular
football – although he still managed to score 5 goals in 10 league games for his first club. He
instead got more football on-loan at Bournemouth, Norwich, and most recently Millwall.

According to Sky Sports News, Blackpool have agreed to a deal for
Bournemouth striker Brett Pitman worth £600,000. However the
club is having a hard time agreeing to personal terms with the striker as Pitman rejected their

Even I'm getting bored with my cynicism these days, so I can only apologise to you. The moment I
saw the ice being applied to Wayne Rooney's "injured" ankle at Bolton last weekend, I was applying
those inverted commas in my head. I was not a jot surprised when Man Yoo's BBC spokesperson Michael
Phelan said that Giggs was the main doubt for the Valencia.
The choice of which game to cover didn't take long this week. Reduced to picking a match from
Leagues 1 and 2 because of another tiresome international break (which unfortunately hasn't put a
stop to more inane Liverpool takeover talk), the Sky-televised contest between Brighton and
Bournemouth at the Withdean was an easy pick, not least because I'll probably be watching it.

It's difficult to clarify under which exact terms a football club can be classified as
'unfortunate'. Indeed, there's a million miles between outfits such as Morecambe and, say,
Nottingham Forest, yet we still group them together under one, all-encompassing umbrella on this
site. Part of that is to try to foster some sense of community and common interest across this
disparate group of 72, but

By the time the last game of the season was upon us, as I travelled up to Burnley, I was ready
for a break, I was spent, done in and had little to no energy left, the fight for champions league,
what ive craved for so long had taken its toll on me just like the rest of the team.
