We weren't sure whether we could love Timmy Howard any more. Just to recap, we know that he looks like this naked and is clearly an 'all-round top bloke' if our recent convo with him was anything to go by. But his response to scoring a wind-assisted wonder goal vs.

Tim Howard became only the 2nd American goalkeeper ever to score in the Premier League, Brad Friedel being the other. Howard scored on a very long fly-kick Wednesday in the Toffees game against Bolton putting Everton up 1-0. With very gusty conditions, the ball took an odd 25-yard bounce over the head of Bolton keeper Adam [.

So for the second consecutive weekend we have no game and many like myself will be having withdrawal symptoms.

There were some interesting answers in yesterdays post so I will carry on with the theme .

After five straight wins on the bounce we are all finally bouyant about our team and if the momentum can be kept for the final ten games, third is a distinct possibility.

On a blustery night at Goodison Park, it was Everton's American doing the most for their club. Landon Donovan got the start on his return to the club on loan. Everton took the lead in the 63rd minute when Tim Howard scored from a goal kick (the fourth in Premier League history) that seemed to accelerate after it took a bounce into the Bolton area.

Bolton's Bogdan could do little but look stunned after Tim Howard booted the ball upfield and it took a bounce that evaded him altogether. The wind carried it a good 20 yards further. Despite our claims to unbiased coverage on this website, it can be difficult – sometimes – to think independently of our individual hues.
