For ten minutes it was there. The passion, the drive and the aggression that have inspired the
team to so many tough wins was nearly palpable. It may have been palpable, because who knows what
else kept knocking Brian Ching over.
And though the Union never, ever gave up, Houston survived the early pressure and then there was
no way through for Philadelphia.
The Houston Dynamo's busy week continues tomorrow night in Columbus against the struggling Crew
in yet another edition of "The Must Win Game". After the beat down in Kansas City over the weekend,
Houston desperately needs points to hold on to a playoff spot, but it's not going to be easy.
Carlo Costly is suspended for his red card against Sporting Kansas City and be glad this isn't
the EPL or he'd be gone for three match for violent conduct.
Brad Davis earns his fifth Team of the Week honor of the season,
Boswell gets an honorable mention

- Dynamo up intensity, get back on track [MLS Soccer]

As if anyone is surprised, the gap between teams is starting to show. Of course, the top three are
probably the top three many had slotted that high before the season started - New York, LA, Real
Salt Lake.
The first two had impressive shutout routs, over bad teams certainly but in combining for seven
goals the two teams showed why there was so much hype over them before the year began.
The Chicago Fire come into tonight's game on a skid having lost three straight to the Seattle
Sounders, Portland Timbers, and a depleted LA Galaxy team. The Men in Red look to turn it around
tonight against a Houston Dynamo squad that is heading into tonight's match with back to back wins.
The two teams split last year's matches.
The Whitecaps will be playing the Dynamo for the first time ever tonight at 6 p.m. central on
Galavision and KHOU in Houston. Luckily I will be watching it in Spanish, a language that I have
yet to master. Also, the picture quality for Galavision on my T.V. is terrible. If that isn't
dedication, then I don't know what is.
For your enjoyment, a few photos from day eight of the 2011 Houston Dynamo pre-season camp.

Boswell's hold is good, Deric with the kick...it's good!
