Providence College midfielder Matt Marcin was added to the final MLS Combine roster. Marcin will
take part in the combine at Central Broward Regional Park in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. this weekend.
Marcin, along with over 70 other prospects including five players from New England colleges that
were previously announced, was placed on a team for the five day combine.
The USA's 25-player camp that opened today features three players who received their first-ever
call-ups to the full team. All played in a youth Women's World Cup for the USA and all are at
different stages of their careers. Jordan Angeli (U-20s in Russia '06) had an excellent season with
the Boston Breakers during her rookie year, scoring seven goals, second only to Kelly Smith.

This year, an astounding five Akron players have been signed through the Generation Adidas program.
Two players with New England ties, Brown University's Jon Okafor and Connecticut native Ryan
Kinne, were both selected in the third round of the 2011 MLS SuperDraft. Okafor went to Chivas USA,
while Kinne was selected by the New England Revolution.

In the same month that the New York Red Bulls signed Maryland standout Matt Kassel to a
Homegrown Player contract, the club has now added the first defender from its academy to the senior
team.
The Red Bulls have signed U.S. Under-20 national team defender Sacir Hot to a Homegrown Player
contract, sources told SBI on Friday.
With just a few more days left before the Red Bulls jet off to Mexico to begin preseason training,
the seemingly endless Luke Rodgers transfer saga finally came to its conclusion this morning. The
former Notts County striker, who has spent his career bouncing around England's second and third
divisions, officially joined the squad at training today for the first time.
