The CONCACAF Olympic Women's qualifying tournament takes place later this month, and we now know who will be representing the U.S. women's national team in it.

A report from The Bolton News on Friday quotes Wanderers' manager Owen Coyle on Sebastien Le Toux, "I've had some decent reports on him. He's very industrious, hard working and looks a very good team player, which is what I'm all about.

Veteran U.S. Women's National Team and WPS midfielder Heather O'Reilly will join the Breakers this season in between National Team commitments, the club announced on Monday.

O'Reilly, who's won two gold medals with the National Team (2004 and 2008) and played in two World Cups (2007 and 2011), has been capped 155 times at the senior team level.

With the May 12 season opener less than three weeks away, the Mutiny added seven more players to its roster on Tuesday.

Forward/midfielder Caitlin Alves, midfielder/defender Sarah Brochu, defender Danielle Dakin, defender Allie Fitzsimmons, midfielder Riley Houle will join New England veterans Karyn Riviere and Therese Smith for the team's first season in WPSL Elite.

U.S. WNT head coach Pia Sundhage has named the roster for the January training camp in Los Angeles, after which she will name the 20-player roster for Olympic Qualifying being held in Vancouver, B.C. from Jan, 19-29. Sundhage will bring 20 players to Canada, but will only be able to suit up 18 per game.

UCLA's Sydney Leroux was the top pick of the Atlanta Beat during the 2012 WPS Draft on Friday.

On Wednesday, the Independence finally made official what has been rumored for weeks, that former Atlanta Beat midfielder/striker Lori Chalupny has signed with the team. Chalupny is a former USWNT player who has been capped over 90 times for the senior squad.

On Tuesday, Aztec MA (formerly Boston Aztec) announced that it will join the newly-formed WPSL Elite League. Although the team is the latest team to join the Elite League, it is, by no means, a stranger to WPSL.

Philadelphia Independence head coach Paul Riley has decided that he will not field a New York Fury team in the new WPSL Elite Division.

Riley told Big Apple Soccer via email, "Decided not to put NY Fury into Elite part of WPSL. Not enough time to get housing, facilities etc all sorted out."

Riley is director of football for the Fury, which already has two WPSL teams, when he is not coaching the Independence.

Add the New England Mutiny to the growing list of teams joining the newly-formed WPSL Elite League.

On Thursday, the Springfield (Mass.)-based squad announced on its official website that it has accepted an invitation to play in the league. The Mutiny is the third team from the Commonwealth to join the league, after former WPS member Boston Breakers and Aztec MA (formerly Boston Aztec) joined in the last seven days.

Despite Women's Professional Soccer suspending operations for the 2012 season, Leslie Osborne (Brookfield/Waukesha Catholic Memorial) will continue her professional soccer career.

Hemmings, who played for the Breakers for the past two seasons, will join fellow returnees Leslie Osborne and Katie Schoepfer on the field for Boston this spring.

It appears that New England soccer fans won't get the opportunity to catch Aztec MA face off against Commonwealth rival New England Mutiny in WPSL Elite this year after Aztec put its plans on hold for the 2012 season.

Only five weeks after undergoing a rebrand ahead of its inaugural season in WPSL Elite League, Aztec MA, formerly Boston Aztec, will not compete in the newly-formed league after all.

Women's soccer fans eager to see the Philadelphia Fever, the newly founded team that will participate in the WPSL Elite League, now have some dates to circle on the calendar after the league released the 2012 schedule on Sunday.

The schedule consists of 14 games and includes teams as far north as former WPS club Boston Breakers and as far west as former WPS club Chicago Red Stars.

Although the Boston Breakers haven't released their 2012 schedule yet, an exhibition game against USL W-League team D.C. United Women on May 12 was confirmed on Thursday.

The game will take place at the Maryland SoccerPlex, which formerly hosted defunct WPS side Washington Freedom, in Boyds, Md.
