According to THIS LIST, Jose Bosingwa is to be released by Chelsea when his contract expires at the
end of June. So I was wondering what you people think of Bosingwa's time at the club as it now
comes to an end?.
For me Bosingwa is one of the best attacking full backs in the game but I guess it's the defensive
side of his game that let's him down doesn't it.
After reading (
and posting) that Gary Cahill is about to sign for Chelsea and is rumoured to
have asked for assurances of first team football at Chelsea ahead of Euro 2012, I just wonder what
it means for David Luiz.
The more I think about it, the more I can see Luiz being asked to step sideways and play at RB for
the remainder of the season to accommodate Cahill in the middle next to JT.
Merry Christmas. Happy Boxing Day. Here are your gameweek 18 picks... I. Blackburn @ Liverpool: I
select this game as the 'game of the week,' not for it's on-the-field potential, but for the media
circus surrounding it off the pitch. ... Continue reading →
Over the weekend we heard AVB confirm that Alex and Nico Anelka have both submitted transfer
requests to the club that have been accepted and they are now training away from the first team
squad until a move has been completed.
Yesterday however, news broke all over the media that Chelsea and AVB are also willing to listen to
offers for a further FOUR more players in January!
Here we go, another great weekend of Premier League football is here. Throw your "Why Always Me?"
t-shirts to the side, and let's concentrate on Chelsea and Arsenal at Stamford Bridge, and the rest
of the weekend's fantasy prognostications. Let's ... Continue reading →
In light of all the recent speculation surrounding the futures of Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou and
Jose Bosingwa, AVB has come out and made HIS intentions clear, even if they do not sign new
contracts before January, he has no intention of selling them this season and would rather let
their contracts run out than lose them from his plans for the season.
Andre Villas Boas confirmed in his press conference yesterday that there are deals offered and on
the table for four of our first team players who's contracts are due to expire at the end of this
season.
Jose Bosingwa, Nicolas Anelka, Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou have all had offers made to them by
the club to extend their time here but I am just wondering who would sign an extended deal.
One person that will split opinion amongst Chelsea fans is Jose Bosingwa. Not the best player
defensively compared to others we have at the club, but one of the best attacking defenders, he
seems to have established himself as a first team regular this season under AVB.
It's all very different to last season where there had been constant speculation that he would be
one of the players to leave the club back in the summer.
We have all seen the rumours, we have all seen the speculation so it's about time that I put down
here on record (as pre season starts today) the players I believe need to impress AVB this week or
for the next 10 days. These are the players I believe may struggle to become part of AVB's
plans.
Nico Anelka.
News has broken this afternoon that Chelsea will take up the option of keeping Jose Bosingwa at the
club for another season in the summer. I have to say when it comes to Jose Bosingwa I still think
that the jury is out. I am not 100% convinced and never really have been. Don't get me wrong, he is
fantastic going forward (even though at times it's his final ball or cross that let's him down)
however, it's the defensive side of things that have always concerned me about him.
Reports broke yesterday that AC Milan have made their interest in our Portuguese right back Jose
Bosingwa known and with just six month remaining on his contract, Chelsea could be willing to let
him go now rather than lose him on a free when it runs out in the summer.
For me it's a no brainer really, Chelsea should have to cash in.
LONDON, England — Chelsea were sent spinning to a shock 1-0 defeat at Wolves on Wednesday as
the Premier League champions fell further behind in the title race and left manager Carlo Ancelotti
clinging to his job. An own goal by defender Jose Bosingwa after five minutes handed victory to
Wolves, who climbed out of [.
