Adidas viste a Tigres.
If Santa Cruz, Eto'o, and Tevez weren't enough, rumors are now circulating in the blue side of
Manchester that The Citizens will continue filling out their 1-1-8 formation by acquiring viral
video superstar Mauro Boselli.
If you haven't heard of Boselli, that's OK - he's not an Argentina international nor does he play
in Europe.
It could have been a tricky tie for Estudiantes, facing Paraguayans Libertad. The visitors are
adept at getting on the nerves of sides from bigger countries, and a visit to Asunción in the
second leg won't have been what Alejandro Sabella and his boys were dreaming of. It took just 28
seconds for Gastón 'La [.
The 50th edition of the Copa Libertadores has been won by Estudiantes de La Plata, who lift the
trophy for the fourth time in their history, after a 29 year wait. Winning in Belo Horizonte's
feared Minerão, where Argentine sides fear to tread (but have succeeded before all the same), Juan
Sebastián Verón emulated his [.
The 50th edition of Copa Libertadores had its final match tonight at the Mineirao, in Belo
Horizonte, Brazil. After the nil draw in Argentina, it seemed Cruzeiro, the home team, was ready to
lift the third title in the competition, the first since 1997.
However, a "Mineirazzo" took place and one more time Brazilian clubs failed at home.
The dust has settled on the trophy presentation and Estudiantes' squad are preparing for their
triumphant return to La Plata on Thursday afternoon with the Copa Libertadores de América. If
you'd like to see how they came from behind to win their fourth continental crown, look no further
there's a ten minute highlight video [.
Messi.
Following Newell's Old Boys' victory over River Plate on Saturday, the other sides hoping to keep
up in the race for the title had to win on Sunday, and two of them managed it. Banfield overcame
San Lorenzo 1-0 in Boedo for their first win away to El Cuervo in 13 years, and Estudiantes brushed

On Wednesday night Estudiantes clinched a place in the final of the 2009 Copa Libertadores de

ESTUDIANTES FINALISTA DE LA COPA LIBERTADORES 2009
Y Estudiantes hace historia.
It is understood that 24-year-old Argentine striker Mauro Boselli is a target for several Premier
League Clubs. Boselli helped current club Estudiantes to Copa Libertadores victory earlier this
year, an achievement that has caught the eye of Managers in England. Boselli also finished top
scorer in the tournament, with 8 goals, including the winner in the [.

Estudiantes de La Plata played the final of the Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, and
despite leading for most of the match through a Mauro Boselli header, they found themselves taken
to extra time by another header this one from Pedro, who's made a bit of history himself. In the

Estudiantes Lp 1 - Defensor Sporting 0

Manchester United cancel a friendly game due to Jakarta bombings
The English champions Manchester United cancelled a friendly in Indonesia to be played on Monday
due to two bombing attacks last Friday in Jakarta.

Barcelona suffered a little more than it would have liked in the FIFA Club World Cup final,
but the Spanish club finished a dream year with another piece of hardware to add to its already
crowded cabinet.
Barcelona came back from a one-goal deficit to dispose of Estudiantes, 2-1,on Saturday.
minutos.
Barcelona now rule the world thanks to a nail-biting win over Veron's Estudiantes, the tense final
of the FIFA World Club Cup started off with a goal for the Argentinean side by Boselli in the 37th
minute. But Guardiola made a key substitution in the 46th minute, subbing Pedro in for Seydou
Keita, and in the 89th minute Pedrito scores letting Barcelona go to extra time.
It was a lot harder than many people expected, but Barcelona finally defeated Club Estudiantes
de La Plata 2-1 to win the FIFA Club World Cup final in Abu Dhabi.
With a minute to go in regulation time Barcelona were trailing 1-0, and it took super sub Pedro
Rodríguez to rescue Barca and send the game into overtime where the World's best plater Lionel
Messi scored the winner.
