Michael Bradley isn't regarded as a goal-scoring machine, at least not since his dream season at Heerenveen, but the U.S. national team midfielder has shown during his time in the Germany Bundesliga that he can certainly finish when given the opportunity.

Six points is all that seperates second place from twelfth in Ligue 1, and for Carlos Bocanegra and Stade Rennes, this weekend provides an opportunity to leapfrog a few teams.

German Bundesliga - 12.12.2009
When a team concedes one own goal in a match you'd generally consider it unfortunate. Two own goals in a match has to go down as a rarity. But to concede three own goals in one game? Well that's just careless.
I just caught some Bundesliga highlights of Borussia Mönchengladbach's 5-3 win over Hannover 96 last weekend and by the end of it I was chuckling away to myself in complete disbelief, as I'm sure the majority of Gladbach fans were too.

Clint Dempsey has cooled down a bit since achieving a rapid-fire scoring streak over the past seven weeks, but Dempsey will have an opportunity to reignite that streak this weekend, only his chance comes against an EPL heavyweight.

Dempsey and Fulham play host to Manchester United, which is still trying to make up for its 1-0 loss to Aston Villa at home last weekend.
