Juventus are a club with plenty of history and trophies, and while the chairman Andrea Agnelli
is trying to return to the golden days of winning, it will take some time.
The project of the bianconeri was beginning to take shape: Luigi Delneri as the coach along with
Beppe Marotta as the sporting director, some smart signings and qualification into the Europa
League.
Wow, that's all I can say seeing some of the transfers that have gone through in the past few
days. While there aren't too many "big" names which moved around, there's are certainly some
interesting, young and skilful players which are going to be wearing new jerseys this season. Let's
see some of the signings that clubs have made, and how they'll affect the Serie A, and maybe
European competitions.
Totti Will Provide The Attacking Threat For Roma Tonight.
Louis van Gaal's Bayern Munich reached the Champions League final last year which they
unfortunately lost to Jose Mourinho's Inter side, but will be looking to kick off this season's
European campaign with three points against a very strong Roma outfit.

We're suffering from a case of the "shoulds", Kickettes. We really should set aside a
good few paragraphs here to advise you of the latest developments in the footballing career of
Marco Borriello.
You see, Marco has just agreed a loan deal that takes him from AC Milan to rival Serie A side
Roma.
There have been a recent prevalence of rumours in the French press, written with a sense of
genuine conviction, that Karim Benzema was offered to Marseille on transfer deadline day on a
seasons long loan deal. Despite Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho continuously complaining all summer
about his lack of options in the centre forward position – his options are limited to Gonzalo
Higuain and Karim Benzema, perhaps Cristiano Ronaldo, traditionally a player who prefers attacking
from a wide position, on occasion too the Spanish club were still prepared to let Benzema
leave.
Claudio Rainieri's coaching is coming for some heated criticism. Today's dispiriting loss to
Brescia which reduced Julio Sergio to tears will only give more ammunition to his critics. Perparim
Hetemaj gave Brescia the lead and worse was to follow as Phillipe Mexes brought down Eder.
The replay shows Mexes's foul took place away from the box but the referee awarded the PK and
ejected the French defender.
A set of matches were played this midweek, and there were few disappointments as we saw a great
match between Inter Milan and Bari which ended 4-0 for the nerazzurri, along with an interesting
loss for Juventus against Palermo. But the most interesting result was Roma's, which needed to get
out of their bad run of form against Brescia, but the newly-promoted side won 2-1.

It's a horror show situation, Kickettes.
Worse than catching your Outnet sale Louboutins in the cobblestones in Covent Garden, far more
heart-breaking than an evil flat-mate leaving an empty, teasing box of Jaffa Cakes in the cupboard.
And beyond the pain of forgetting your umbrella at home after spending far too much money on a
pre-party salon blow out.
AS Roma must now certainly believe that they have turned a corner as Mirko Vucinic popped up in
the dying embers of their Serie A clash with Internazionale on Saturday night and gave i Lupi their
first league victory of the season following a catastrophic start to the campaign.
The Romans had been in dire straits prior to the clash with Rafael Benitez's men.
Yeah okay. So we could be accused of 'leading the witnesses'. But heaven preserve us, look at him!

Contrary to popular myth, we at Kickette do not sit around the office all day thinking up new
and interesting ways to torture you, our delightful readers. No, we sit around the office all day
snarking, sneaking slurps from the brown paper wrapped bottles we keep in our desk drawers and
occasionally penning the odd short-tent related missive.
