Tired of living your regular life, carting around your own groceries like a peasant worker,
having to travel cook your own dinner like a pleb and being forced to carry your own handbag?
Fear not, Kickettes. Hyundai, (official partner of FIFA World Cup) have come up with a plan of
action (and tabloid mag mock up) to help us through:
A competition offering the chance to win a weekend with family and friends in a nine-bedroom
mansion.
Let's ignore the obvious discussion for a second. Try and stay with us.
Top story of the day just might belong to Frank Lampard and Christine Bleakley, who have joined
holiday forces with the Jamie and Louise Redknapp in Costa Smeralda, Sardinia. (Staying at Hotel
Cala Di Volpe, a village-themed resort designed by Aga Khan situated in the Porto Cervo bay, the
Redknapps are loyal customers of the accommodations ever since their first stint at the resort two
years ago.
If just half the rumors about the number of strikers Sir Alex Ferguson is reported to be interested
in prove to be correct, Old Trafford will provide the setting for the highest scoring matches
ever...

And in an unusual position, too, by the sound of it.

Here's the game report:
MILAN (AP) -- David Beckham began his second stint with AC Milan on Wednesday night,
playing 76 minutes and positioned at forward rather than his usual midfield during his team's 5-2
victory over Genoa in the Italian league.
Perhaps it's obvious that today was not a successful day for posting news here at Kickette
Towers.

Never mind, we've got a lorryload of hot boys in suits doing good deeds at the First Annual gala
of Champions for Children Foundation in Milan last night.
Some of football's biggest stars are in fitness battles to be ready for their team's second leg
clashes.
Alexandre Pato was injured last weekend in Milan's 3-1 win against Atalanta. He scored two goals
but had to be stretchered off with a hamstring strain. He didn't play in Milan's 0-0 draw with Roma
today and will be a last minute decision before Wednesday's match.
Who ate so much this past extended weekend that they have chocolate oozing from their pores?
That's a trick question, since we all know the answer. Especially the elasticated
waistbands we're bringing back for spring/summer 2010.
Not sure about you, Kickettes, but the holiday-weekend-that-was reminded us that too much family
time makes us feel as crabby as Marco Borriello looks.
Juventus are a club with plenty of history and trophies, and while the chairman Andrea Agnelli
is trying to return to the golden days of winning, it will take some time.
The project of the bianconeri was beginning to take shape: Luigi Delneri as the coach along with
Beppe Marotta as the sporting director, some smart signings and qualification into the Europa
League.
Wow, that's all I can say seeing some of the transfers that have gone through in the past few
days. While there aren't too many "big" names which moved around, there's are certainly some
interesting, young and skilful players which are going to be wearing new jerseys this season. Let's
see some of the signings that clubs have made, and how they'll affect the Serie A, and maybe
European competitions.
Totti Will Provide The Attacking Threat For Roma Tonight.
Louis van Gaal's Bayern Munich reached the Champions League final last year which they
unfortunately lost to Jose Mourinho's Inter side, but will be looking to kick off this season's
European campaign with three points against a very strong Roma outfit.

It seems like seconds since we finished writing up the Weekend Results and watched with interest
as you lot unleashed yourselves all over the comments.
Well Kickettes, duty calls...again.
Just as it did the last time we had enough motivation to transform ourselves into thigh
lexiconartists. We've been inspired, dear readers.
However. Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. Consider this Thursday Thigh-Off one more
small step towards weekly repetition.
This weekend is a big one; in all three leagues (Serie A, English Premier League, and La Liga) we
have some big matches. What we also have this weekend is the FIFA World Club Cup Final between TP
Mazembe and Inter Milan, and it is the first time that an African side has reached the final of
this tournament.

The Dinho is back! Well, that was what many
futbolitas told us excitedly on Twitter and you could be right! A few
days ago, we questioned this cara's ability to make Dopey's starting XI, which remains an
open call, unless you are Uncle Pele and even he can't waltz into the
training ground of Granja Comary whenever he pleases.

Don't you think that Signore Borriello is a carbon copy of Roberto
Baggio from that angle? Naturally, all he needs to do is to grow out that hair and he can
start to make special appearances at the flower festival with it! Mamma mia, could these
two be long lost gemelli (twins)?

Borriello in nazionale.

7 time European champions AC Milan have an uphill task tonight when they face a very in form

Not sure about you, Kickettes, but the holiday-weekend-that-was reminded us that too much family
time makes us feel as crabby as Marco Borriello looks.
A total of 25 goals were scored this weekend in Serie A, with the highest scoring game being
Cagliari-Milan (2-3). Leading scorer Antonio Di Natale scored vs. Juventus this past weekend,
increasing his tally to 22. Diego Milito is still chasing him with 18 goals. Giampaolo Pazzini
scored to move up to 14 goals (4th place).
It's been a perculiar, unpredictable season for Milan as the side have endured great levels of
torment from humiliating defeats to the likes of Inter and Manchester United, and they have found
themselves looking desperately blunt on other occasions, often with dramatic late goals saving them
from further embarrassment.
Eto`o.
We were slightly troubled- for all of two days upon learning that our dearest of readers did
not emphatically indulge in Signore Borriello as much as we do.
But since we're not ones to wallow in our sorrows, we're using Borriello's rather devastating F5
voting data as motivation to convert the masses.
Italy coach Marcello Lippi has picked 29 players for training this week but did not include any
players from Roma or Inter who will be contesting the Coppa Italia final. Serie A leaders Inter
will probably not have any member in the Azzurri squad headed to South Africa 2010 considering
Davide Santon is injured while Mario Balotelli has not impressed Lippi with his unprofessional
approach and mistakes.
AC Milan has had a lukewarm Serie A campaign this season and with two games left to play, the
Rossoneri are still not assured of a third place finish. However, there are a few players who
caught my attention and others that simply failed to live up to my expectations.
I'll start with the performers.

Manchester United are reportedly considering a shock move for AC Milan forward Marco Borriello.
Sir Alex Ferguson is a big admirer of in form Italian international and is looking for an effective
partner for Wayne Rooney and has earmarked the big powerful San Siro man as a potential target.
Milan defeated fallen giants Juventus 3-0 in a match with no consequence to the Serie A title
race yet it served as the proper farewell for coach Leonardo who managed to do well despite the
lack of depth in the squad and the limited resources.
The Rossoneri only spent on Klaas-Jan Huntelaar who turned out to be a flop and was unimpressive
forcing Leonardo to confine the Dutchman to the bench and use Alexandre Pato and Marco Borriello as
his starting duo in attack.
