Often I view the end of the European soccer season as a silly time, because every player with any talent (and some without) are rumored to be acquired by one club or another. - Good news came from the Nou Camp ahead of our always needed work-day reprieve: Barcelona defender/French international Éric Abidal returned home to rest after undergoing emergency surgery to remove a tumor from his liver.
