Scarborough Athletic travel to the West Riding on Saturday, where
Thackley will be their hosts.
Thackley (The Dennyboy's) will be looking forward to a run of 5
consecutive home league fixtures, ours being the first.
Following the game against Boro on Saturday, the Dennyboy's will
entertain Hall Road Rangers, Bridlington Town, Armthorpe Welfare, who incidentally knocked them out
of the WRC Cup last night thanks to a 35th minute own goal from James Firth.
Boro fans have helped the club out by handing over £144 following a
voluntary collection taken at the Thackley game yesterday, this was to help pay the ridiculous fine
imposed on the club following the unpleasantness at the Parkgate Vase game, a fantastic response
from the fans, maybe we should be asking for donations from Parkgate themselves when we visit them
again in 2 days time.
MANY BORO FANS ARE TALKING OF BOYCOTTING THE MUCH TALKED ABOUT
PARKGATE GAME TOMORROW EVENING FOLLOWING THE ANTICS OF THE CLUB IN PREVIOUS GAMES AND THE UNFAIR
FINE PLACED ON OUR CLUB FOLLOWING THE FANS REACTIONS TO THE DIABOLICAL WAY THE GAME WAS
REFEREED.
THE CLUB WAS HIT WITH AN UNFAIR FINE OF £160, MOST OF THIS AMOUNT
HAS ALREADY BEEN RAISED BY FANS AT THE AWAY MATCH AT THACKLEY ON SATURDAY AND WILL BE GIVEN TO THE
CLUB TO PAY THE FINE.
