The battle for the Olympic stadium in London seems to have ended after what was turning out to
be a battle for the facility between two London clubs West Ham and Tottenham ending with
neither of the sides winning the battle to acquire the stadium.
It is believed that in a meeting to be held with the LOC chiefs sometime soon, Tottenham will
officially end their hopes of leasing the stadium.
Tottenham Hotspur and Leyton Orient face a crucial week in oppostion to West Ham's Olympic Stadium

their challenge to United's tenancy of the Olympic Stadium has been successful after a High Court
judge spent the early part of this week considering their case.

It's official: West Ham United have been confirmed as the bid of choice to take over the
60,000-capacity Olympic Stadium in Stratford after London 2012.
The Olympic Park Legacy Company (clunky acronym: OPLC) announced that the Irons (running track)
have beaten Spurs (f**k the running track) in the race to move into the stadium.
In what has become an increasingly bitter and personal battle to win the right to take-over the
Olympic Stadium West Ham appear to have won the race ahead of Spurs.
But if that proves to be the case, the decision has to be confirmed by London Major Boris Johnson
and the government, you get the impression Hammers fans aren't exactly ecstatic with the move.
LONDON, England - West Ham United have beaten out rivals Tottenham Hotspur to take over the London
2012 Olympics stadium, according to the BBC. The decision is set to be announced later this week
after both English Prmeier League sides submitted bids to the Olympic Park Legacy Company, an
unsourced report on the BBC's website said.
