Inter Do To Chelsea, What The Blues Do To Us!

I was in splits while watching this game. In so many ways it mirrored out recent losses against the big teams that I couldn't help but laugh at the irony.

Chelsea got caught out early on. How many times have we seen that happen to us?! There wasn't anything really wrong with Chelsea in the first few minutes but Inter were just a bit quicker off the blocks and boom, they scored from nowhere!

Top 10 Goals Of The Season, No.7: Lionel Messi, Barcelona Vs Real Zaragoza, La Liga

I noticed that the Guardian shortlisted this Messi goal for end-of-season honours, more because of a wonderful through ball by Xavi than for anything Messi did, but for my coin the Messi solo goal posted above is way more impressive.

Messi's unstoppable chip at pace against Arsenal was also in the reckoning, but in the end his goal against Zaragoza sums up Leo better than any other he scored this season.

It rained a lot at Upton Park. Kolo Toure scored the winner, meaning Cesare Prandelli lost his first match in charge of Italy (as did Marcello Lippi in 2004).

The way things are going, there's a real danger that Italy won't even qualify for Euro 2012.

Coming soon to Stamford Bridge, T-Shirt Time.

That's right. Romes is brining the Shore to SW6. Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is in the process of completing the construction of a £20 million private nightclub below Stamford Bridge. Finally. Not since 2007, when the Purple nightclub boarded up, has the Bridge been fist-pump accessible.

Good game this. End to end stuff and had Persis' strikers proved a bit cannier on the last defender they could have taken the points. Instead, nothing.
They took the lead through the experienced Nova Zaenal from about 30 yards but Tarik El Jalaby, the most influential player on the field, equalised right on half time.

Indonesia is enjoying its own footballing boom with attendances flocking to both the ISL and IPL. This game being played in front of a packed Persikabo Stadium in Cibinong is being showed live on TV with both teams even having shirt sponsors.
Persikabo dominated the game but it took them 81 minutes to break the deadlock when David Ngabe's free kick hit the top corner past a wall that worked hard to get out the way.
