Arsene Wenger has been known to scrutinize the officiating in the Premier League, particularly when it is against his Arsenal side.

Hence, it comes as no surprise that the Frenchman has once again questioned why some of the key decisions in recent matches have gone against the Gunners.

Despite being 1-0 up with 12 minutes to go at Fulham, Wenger's men completely lost control of matters following the dismissal of defender Johan Djourou for a second bookable offence.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has issued a rallying cry to his team-mates in the wake of Sunday's 4-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Merseyside giants were comprehensively outplayed at White Hart Lane and undermined their own efforts to gain a foothold through indiscipline, with Charlie Adam and Martin Skrtel both given their marching orders for two bookable offences.

Kenny Dalglish would not be drawn on the red cards for Charlie Adam and Martin Skrtel as Liverpool were hammered 4-0 by Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
Referee Mike Jones had little option but to dismiss the pair for two bookable offences, with midfielder Adam departing from the action in the first period after pulling down Luka Modric and then catching Scott Parker.

The pre-match talk again contained a few surprises, with Jordan Henderson staying in the squad and Luis Suarez starting on the bench Suarez sitting was clearly a product of his tired legs against Sunderland, and probably the right move given the stage of the season.

It's all gone a bit crazy since the game last night. People are upset at the referee, at the players, at Barcelona. Let's see if I can sift through some of the rubble and see what we've been left with here.

Arsene Wenger is not a happy bunny:

"Two kinds of people can be unhappy; those who love Arsenal and those who love football can be frustrated with the referee's decisions.

Sometimes, just sometimes, you have to blame the ref. Newcastle report and thoughts.

Newcastle 4 Arsenal 4
Even for a team which specialises in collapses, this was a new low. I don't want to labour the point, but to blow a four goal lead takes a special kind of ineptitude.
