With our Champions League match not until tomorrow night, we are all left with another 24 hours
to wonder if we will have enough players standing to field a team.
No doubt the team we do field will get some serious stick from the 'purists' in the game who think
we should be putting out our strongest team no matter what so that it's 'fair' on the other
teams.
Blackburn Rovers midfielder Morten Gamst Pedersen has revealed his desire to move to Scottish
Premier League side Celtic. The Norwegian winger has stalled contract talks at Ewood Park, and is
reportedly unsettled under manager Sam Allardyce.
The lure of Champions League football makes Celtic Park the ideal destination for Pedersen, and
a January move could be on the cards, especially considering Blackburn will not want to lose him on
a free in the summer.
DaMarcus Beasley has done it again; the resurgent Rangers winger scored his second goal in as many
games on Saturday, knocking home his team's fifth score in a 6-1 rout of Motherwell. He later set
up Kyle Lafferty for the club's sixth goal, making it his third-straight game with an assist.
"Obviously, the World Cup is something I think about a lot, I can't lie about that," Beasley said
after the match.
Coach Robert Alberts has slammed Arema's management as not professional and claimed that many
things promised in the contracts have yet to be delivered.
