This gameweek is a double for a few teams including Fulham, which makes Brede Hangeland a fine pick
for the next couple of weeks given Fulham's forthcoming fixtures (Bolton, Sunderland and Burnley
after this week's double GW). Hangeland does well every season as a bargain priced defender, and is
a key choice for those looking to hone in on Fulham's potential clean sheets.

Dirty Tackle 18 November @ 03:31 AM EST
Another day, another head shot. This really is the final straw for American girls soccer,
though. I mean, the hair pulling and dirty tackles are one thing, but to take aim and obliterate an
opponent's face like this on a free kick is just way over the line. And totally hilarious.
After the jump, a special bonus DTotD.

Highlights:
This was one of those it's all about the three points games because there wasn't much else to
it. And it kept Chivas USA within striking distance (with games to spare) of the top of the Western
Conference.
"Right now it's all about points, right now it's all about getting a position in the
playoffs, and every game and every point is important, and today is no different," said Chivas USA
Coach Preki.

This is slightly later than planned so sorry about that. I had this dream last night, I was

(yes I know, my brain doesn't know what side its bread's buttered on), I wanted Arsenal to win of
course.

Did you know the English national team coach stands to get a $8.3 million bonus for winning the
World Cup?
Not a bad incentive.
But the main reason Fabio Capello has been in the news of late is his WAG policy. Apparently they
will only be able to visit after games in South Africa, and those with other plans might as well
just stay home.

Ok, Marta throwing a baseball at a LA Dodgers game is pretty random. They
should've included a bonus round with Mickey Mouse Beckham as he
elegantly manhandles a Javelin. What a spectacle that would've been.
On a more serious note, Pele will officially announce Marta as a Santos player
in the squad's attempt to win the first ever female edition of the Libertadores

But alas, it's just a Disney XD viral showing Frank Lampard at Wembley doing an interview and

Afternoon all.
In case you hadn't noticed, there's a game tonight, the small matter of Celtic coming to town,
hopefully to leave with their tails between their legs as we swan on into the group stages of the
Champions League.
If only it were that easy.
2-0 lead or no 2-0 lead, it would be beyond foolish to treat tonight's game as a mere annoyance
ahead of United on Saturday.

Brown said: "The biggest bonus of the night wasn't just the fact some young lads have

spend so much so instead we have signed the second right back that we were looking at, Carlos

With the Championship season starting this weekend, Derby County's players have decided to give up
their bonuses this season if they fail to finish in the top six of the Championship.
A number of the senior players got together and, with the backing of the dressing room, felt the
gesture was the "right thing to do" due to the tough financial climate facing football and the fact
that the team has under-achieved in the past two seasons, having been relegated from the Premier
League in 2007-8 with a record-low number of points and finishing 18th in the Championship last
term.

up their bonuses this season if they can't dramatically improve and finish in the top six. Says
Robbie Savage:
"We have not deserved a bonus in the past two years and so have decided not to collect our
