It seems odd to me, but over the last few weeks I've seen Aaron Ramsey come in for a lot of
criticism, especially on the angst-spewing machine that is Twitter. The main bone of contention
seems to be that he has become an automatic first XI pick for Arsene this year, despite the fact
that he has not contributed enough to the team.

I'm not mean to dampen the mood of everyone here, but I guess many of you out there must be
disappointed by this time of the day when we are only made known of the opening round instead of
the FULL fixture list of this season S.
AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has finally spoken out on the Carlos Tevez transfer saga saying
that the Argentine has the choice between joining a prestigious side like Milan or moving to a club
that is able to meet his financial requirements.
Commanding a weekly wage of £200,000, Tevez does not come cheap and it is this fact that it the

After a fortnight of ridiculous palaver, Man City announced last night that Carlos Tevez had
been found guilty on five separate counts of breaching his contract on that fateful night in Munich
and duly fined the Argentinian striker four week's wages for the dubious crime of 'refusing to warm
up' against Bayern.
Europe's leading clubs have demanded a drastic cut in the number of international fixtures and a
greater say in how the game is run.
The current calendar provides for 12 games a year but the European Club Association (ECA) wants a
50% cut.
"We would prefer six double dates over a two-year qualifying period," said ECA board member and
Manchester United chief executive David Gill.

Ashley Young's arrival at Old Trafford has been met with mixed reaction amongst Manchester
United fans. At around £15m some say he's good value English talent when compared to the £20m
Liverpool paid to bring in Jordan Henderson from Sunderland, but could he end up being a £15m
bench warmer?

News is filtering through this morning that, even after Birmingham formally refused to accept
his resignation last night, Aston Villa have asked their cross-city rivals for permission to open
talks with Alex McLeish about taking over at Villa Park.
Morning all, welcome to midweek, and it's ticket prices that are the main talking point this
morning. Arsenal yesterday confirmed a new 'pricing approach', which means a 6.5% rise in ticket
prices for next season.
Ivan Gazidis said:
We thought about this increase, the first in three seasons, very carefully.
