Both Stoke and Fulham have a double header on Gameweek 20, after missing out on Gameweek 17.
Arsenal and Bolton are the other teams that gameweek who benefit from the revised fixture list.
The tricky part for a lot of players is that by now many have shaped their teams into something
close to what they would like, making the dilemma not so much about who they should transfer in,
rather who they will transfer out.
This weeks predictions: Arsenal v Stoke 2-0 Aston Villa v Hull 2-0 Blackburn v Liverpool 1-1
Man City v Chelsea 1-2 Portsmouth v Burnley 0-1 West Ham v Man Utd 0-2 Wigan v Birmingham
1-0 Wolverhampton v Bolton 1-0 Everton v Tottenham 1-3 Fulham v Sunderland 2-1
FIFA Club World Cup semifinal on Fox Soccer Channel at 11am. FSC also has has Sunderland - Aston
Villa at 2:45pm. Same time for Manchester United - Wolves on Setanta and Bolton - West Ham United
on Setanta Xtra (regular Setanta at 5pm). All Times Eastern
Ivan Klasnic is a man in form. In the last four matches he has scored 4 goals for Bolton, and
accrued 4 bonus points. Admittedly these results have come against some middling teams - Fulham,
Wolves, Manchester City and West Ham, but his forthcoming fixtures look equally useful: Wigan,
Burnley, Hull and Arsenal in his gameweek 20 double fixture, then Sunderland on the 9th of January.
A goal in the 93rd minute of the match by Fernando Torres gave Liverpool the boost they desperately
needed as they won against Aston Villa 0-1 at Villa Park. The dramatic victory gave the Reds a
reprieve from the bad string of performances and results that they have been seeing so far in the
Premier [.
It has been a pretty disastrous three months for Liverpool in league so far, but on a game-by-game
basis, how do this season's result compare to last season's?

It's that time of the week again, tomorrow the mighty Wanderers will be traveling southward to
take on Wolves. This will be the 112th time the two clubs have faced each other, the first time
being in 1888 in the first season of the league. Yes my friends, this is a clash steeped in
history. To find out exactly how many times each team has won, lost, and drawn go to the BBC.
Jody Craddock was amongst the goals again as Wolves beat Bolton.

Yet another loss. We now sit in 19th place, having taken just 1 point from our last 5 games. ONE
point. I can't even communicate how disappointed I am with our team right now. Losing to Spartak
London is one thing, they spend probably 5 times what we do, but losing horribly to a newly
promoted team?
If you are looking for a cheaper midfielder for the next month or so, Tamir Cohen is a central
midfielder with Bolton who may be worth considering. He is involved in the double gameweek in GW20,
and compared to cheapie favorite Bowyer, has a more favourable run. Boltons forthcoming fixture
list reads:
- Man City (h)
- West Ham (h)
- Wigan (a)
- Burnley (a)
- Hull City (h) Arsenal (a)
- Sunderland (a)
- Arsenal (h)
- Burnley (h)
Some of these teams present rather leaky defenses, and (at time of writing) at £4.
It's a busy Saturday in the English Premier League with nine matches on the schedule. Video
Highlights for all the matches can be found below including Chelsea v Everton & Manchester United v
Aston Villa. If a link is not available for a match, then highlights are not yet available but
should be added later.
What a set of results for us before the biggey at Anfield tomorrow. City only take a point from
Bolton, Chelsea draw at home to Everton, Spurs lose at home to Wolves, Manu lose at home to Villa
and Wayne Rooney gets booked for diving. It isn't just foreigners that dive you know. Moving onto
tomorrow, today's results have focused my attention somewhat.
Liverpool and Arsenal fans haven't had a lot to cheer about recently. After a great start to the
campaign, we've fallen away with losses at Sunderland and, most painfully, at home to Chelsea,
while Liverpool are out of the Champions League and struggling to ensure they appear at Europe's
top table again next season.
I've lowered my standard to the point where I celebrate a single point against a non-Big Four
team, such is the life of a Bolton fan. Annnnyway many apologies for not getting the chance to
write a match report, I participated in a "Family Day" yesterday (yes, it was exactly as
fun as it sounds), so didn't get the chance.

This is going up a bit late, but since there are a handful of matches on tap today (including
several involving Americans), it's only right to have a running commentary post.

According to the Bolton News, Bolton boss Gary Megson stated
that defender Gary Cahill is not for sale. Megson said,
"This club can't sell Gary Cahill in January ... There is no amount of money that I would
recommend that we accept to take for him .
Freddy Adu is telling people on Twitter that he has an offer on the table, but that it has to be
the right one. Check it out. Where do you want to see him go?
Ives Galarcep breaks down some scenarios apparently playing out with potential Generation adidas
signings. Some big-time talent looks to be joining the League this year.
Arsenal ended the year in style. With a 1-4 win over Portsmouth, the Gunners moved closer to the
top knowing that they of course have a game in hand, away at Bolton. In the meantime, manager ...

West Ham, Wigan, Bolton, Hull and Portsmouth really burned some serious cash which seems not to
have served them well.
Look at Big Phil's sad Charlie Brown face. No one wants to see that.
PHILIPPE SENDEROS today suffered the ignominy of being left out of Arsenal's League Cup squad to
face Man City at Eastlands tonight. When your gaffer rates you below a past-it Mikael Silvestre,
you know you're not wanted.
This weekend sees a mouth-watering selection of ties that could really have a huge impact on the
Premier League standings. With dominant Chelsea seemingly vulnerable, a resurgent Man City side
could be the perfect opposition to throw the title race wide open, while there are three relegation
six-pointers as Pompey host Burnley, Wigan welcome Birmingham and Bolton travel to Wolves.

According to Alan Nixon at MirrorFootball, Sheffield United are interested in
Bolton defender Danny Shittu. It is reported that boss
Gary Megson is looking to sell the defender to lower the club's wages.

City beating EPL toppers Chelsea has to be the result of the weekend.
Emmanuel Adebayor was responsible for a goal for both teams in the first half (he had an own goal
if anyone was confused by that) and Carlos Tevez had a beauty of a free-kick goal for the
winner.
The big highlight came when Shay Given saved a Frank Lampard at the end to seal it.
Tough talking from the skipper:
"We have to make sure we build on the result from Saturday," declared the skipper. It
is no good beating Chelsea with all the emotion that entailed and then coming home from Bolton with
nothing.
"We have got to make sure we remain mentally tough, it is not enough to beat the best sides we have
to produce the same against everyone.
CITY will be without left-back Wayne Bridge at least until the New Year.
But the Blues have survived a second defensive injury scare with Micah Richards set to be fit to
face Bolton on Saturday.
Bridge is believed to have tweaked medial knee ligaments during the 2-1 weekend win over Chelsea
and at first it was feared he may be a long-term casualty.
Liverpool full-back Andrea Dossena has once again hinted at his desire to leave the club.
The Italian defender has found first-team opportunities hard to come by so far this season and is
widely expected to leave Anfield when the transfer window opens in January.
Napoli are being touted as Dossena's most likely next club as he looks to secure a place in the
Italy squad for next year's World Cup in South Africa.
UPDATE: According to Sky Sports News, Birmingham boss
Alex McLeish admitted that he has not received any enquiries for Kevin
Phillips and Lee Carsley. McLeish said,
"There have not been any enquiries for Kevin and Lee.
After the highs of last week a potential trap game awaits.
With the concensus being that we are back on track (amazing what a victory can do) there is the
potential to look past the trip to The Reebok to potentially tougher tests at Tottenham on
Wednesday and Sunderland next weekend.
Hopefully that will not be the case though as players and management alike should be only too aware
that this is the type of fixture that was prevalent in our recent run of draws.
FIFA Club World Cup on Fox Soccer Channel: Atlante - Auckland City at 5pm (11am on Fox Sports en
Espanol). EPL on ESPN2: Stoke City - Wigan Athletic at 7:30am. On Setanta: Chelsea - Everton at
10am, Spurs - Wolverhampton at 5pm, Birmingham City - West Ham United at 8:30am, and Hull City -
Blackburn at 10:15pm.
A concern going into today's game was our recent record of firing blanks at The Reebok (no goals in
our four previous visits), but - in what has been a theme of the season so far - it was problems in
defence rather than attack that was to be our undoing.
Team wise Hughes went as I expected - Sylvinho in for Bridge and Bellamy picked ahead of Robinho,
but the recently impressive de Jong was replaced by Vincent Kompany.
Yesterday's results have made today's game at Anfield all the more interesting. Not that a game
against the Mugsmashers is ever anything but a chance for the Arsenal players to avenge the
smashing of my mug so many years ago, but it makes life at the top of the table much more fun.
Aston Villa actually moved above us into third with their 1-0 win over United, although they
have played two more games.
Welcome to the zone. Not the kind of place where you just drop in. Have a cup of tea. Some
people wouldn't even go near the place. Others, season after season, game after game... They call
it home.
Which is why it is not greeted very well if a team doesn't perform at home. Which is why it's
not cool that we didn't perform at what is probably the greatest 'home' any team could have.
Coming into this weekend, looking at the fixture list, this was poised to be the end of
Arsenal's title hopes. Chelsea was at home against Everton, who have been very poor this season,
and Manchester United was at home against Aston Villa. Spurs were also home against Wolves, and
Manchester City were playing at relegation zone dwellers Bolton.
We're back in it. This past weekend was just about as good of a weekend as we could have asked for
in the Premiership. Chelsea dropped points at home to Everton, Man City drew with Bolton, and best
of all, United lost at home to Aston Villa. Meanwhile, we played on Sunday, and it was a rough
match up at Anfield vs Liverpool.
