Edwin van der Sar's testimonial evening at the Amsterdam Arena last night was a three-pronged affair, with the festivities opening with a match between Ajax U13s and Manchester United U13s, with Poppa van der Sar's son Joe turning out for United.

Secondly, an Ajax '95 side took on Holland '98 with Marc Overmars scoring the only goal of the game for the Amsterdammers, and a bit of a beaut it was too.
