El 25º Campeonato
Sudamericano Sub 20 que clasificará a cuatro seleccionados al Mundial
Sub 20
Colombia 2011 (y da 2 cupos para las Olimpíadas Londres 2012) se jugará en Perú
entre el 16 de enero y el 12 de febrero (2011).
Los 10 equipos sudamericanos se dividen en dos grupos de cinco, de los que clasifican los tres
mejores de cada uno para un hexagonal final.

Santos derrotó a Peñarol 2-1 y es el Campeón de la Copa Libertadores de América 2011. Después
de 48 años de haberse consagrado bicampeón de la Copa Libertadores de las ediciones de 1962 y
1963, justamente frente a Peñarol y Boca Juniors, sus únicos rivales de sus cuatro finales
disputadas, Santos logró el anhelado título continental y obtuvo su lugar en el Mundial de Clubes
de la FIFA, junto a los campeones de la UEFA Champions League, la O-League de Oceanía, la AFC
Champions League de Asia, la CAF Champions League africana, la Concacaf Champions League y el
campeón japonés, ya que el certamen volverá a jugarse en tierras niponas.
El año iniciara movido el torneo de futbol latinoamericano mas importante tendra lugar y ya
estan listos los encuentros de los equipos Sudamericanos y mexicanos en este certamen que ha
causado gran expectación en la afición.

The Fire are holding their annual open tryouts at the Bridgeview Sports Dome today and tomorrow.

coming from as far as China and Bolivia it's a busy weekend for assistant coach Larry Sunderland,
who is running the tryouts.
The following are the fixtures and results for the 2011 South American Youth Championships,
currently being held in Peru. The first group stage began on January 16th, and will last until the
28th, when the top three teams from each group will advance to the final group stage. No knockouts
in this one.
