In which, shortly after watching him score Argentina's equaliser in their 2-1, come-from-behind World Cup qualifying victory on Tuesday evening, Colombian defensive pair Gustavo Bolivar and Abel Aguilar combine to provide Lionel Messi with a bit of freelance tooth-removal.

The District tournament will be held at Bolivar High School, with a play-in game on Saturday October 29th. The semifinal games are scheduled for October 31st followed by the Final on November 1st. The Bolivar Liberators are the 3 time defending champions, reaching the State Quarterfinals in 2010 where they lost to Marshall.

Will Bolivar be able to win against the defending District champs? As one coach from the region noted, they have the best offense with Jonna Welch and Sarah Magana but Harrisonville has four players headed for future college playing careers.

Big game tonight, the Webster County derby will earn one program their first ever District title in Girls soccer.
The semifinal games were both won by a single goal. These two teams are meeting for the fourth time this season with Marshfield winning the first and third game, Logan-Rogersville winning at the Branson Tournament.

The Home District is 11 while Bolivar has been moved to District 12, which will be the source of the Sectional opponent. The Quarterfinal foe will come from District 9 or 10, Central Missouri area schools. The winner in District 11 will earn their first ever District title and includes 1st year program Republic and the 3rd year Wildcats and Bulldogs.

Not yet the final day of games despite the News-Leaders claims today. Top of the list? Mike Howard of the Rolla Bulldogs goes for his 600th career win tonight as the squad heads NE to visit the Union Wildcats, a Class 2 program. The next opportunity would come Tuesday in the District playoff game against Waynesville.

Last weekend of the regular season and Ozark has added a game to their schedule with tonight's game. The Moberly Spartans are a Top-10 Class 2 team that lost in the District Finals last year to Helias. This year that meeting will likely come in the Sectional game as #1 seeded Helias is in District 10 while Moberly is now in District 9.

The game with the most on the line tonight is a Class 2 match between District 11 foes Marshfield and Logan-Rogersville. In addition to being a Webster County derby, these two teams are part of a new five team line-up that opens one of them to becoming a District champion for the first time ever.

Big game tonight as the Nixa Eagles, after a weekend off, will visit the Kickapoo Chiefs who went 1-1 at the Parkway College Showcase this weekend. The Eagle's are looking to extend their unbeaten string and more importantly, send another message to District 11 about their plans for this season.

In Class 1, Springfield Catholic is firmly at the top of the initial poll with 9 first place votes. Greenwood finished just outside the Top 10 as well.
