Bogota, Colombia there comes a time and realization that one day, you must pick a side. The eternal
battle between the local teams, Millonarios and Santa Fe de Bogota is one of the countries oldest
rivalries.
BOGOTA – I checked off a "global first" this morning: I watched English Premier League Soccer
from Colombia.
Oh, have I mention that I am in Colombia?
I arrived last night, got some shut-eye then hopped up for food and EPL on the tele down at the
breakfast bar.

Brazil take on Portugal in the final of the Under-20 World Cup this evening in the estádio El
Campín in Bogota, Colombia.
Ney Franco is expected to start the same team that saw off Spain and Mexico in the previous
rounds.
U.S. Soccer referee Mark Geiger and assistant referee Sean Hurd have been selected to officiate
the final of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup between Brazil and Portugal in Bogota, Colombia.
The match will be broadcast live on ESPNU and ESPN3.com on Saturday, August 20, at 7 p.m. ET.
The American referees, along with Canada's Joe Fletcher, have also been on the referee crew for a
Group E match between Brazil and Austria, a Group B match featuring Uruguay and Cameroon and a
Round of 16 game between Spain and Korea Republic.
Mexico's quest to capture the Under-17 and Under-20 World Cups in the same summer came up two
wins short.
Brazil beat Mexico, 2-0, in a U-20 World Cup semifinal on Wednesday, getting two late goals from
Golden Boot front-runner Henrique in a four-minute span to eliminate the final CONCACAF
representative in the tournament.
