Not content with throwing millions upon millions of petro-dollars at the has-beens and so-sos of European football, Johnny-come-lately Russian rich boys Anzhi Makhachkala have now moved into the rap game getting some bod named Timaro to produce this garbage, The Anzhi Rap (like the Anfield Rap, but with 100% less Grobbelaar).

Arsenal does not really do transitional seasons, or does it? Somehow, through the magic of Wenger, we have been able to rebuild squads and first teams without losing sight of silverware and European football in every single season the Frenchman has been at the helm.

Well, would you believe it? It seems as if progress is on the Arsenal horizon with chief bod Ivan Gazidis seemingly open to ideas from Gooners on improving the atmosphere at the Emirates. Revealtions this morning on Twitter suggest that the club are pondering the option of booting away fans upstairs in the Clock End, thus allowing home supporters cheaper seats and improving the unity at that end.

A recent blog on the AA website called 'Project Youth-fact or fiction?' (great write Illybongani) got me thinking about the direction that Arsenal has been heading in the last 6 trophyless years and also the grief that Arsène Wenger has had to endure. Fans seem to be divided into 2 opinions.

It's a very slow Arsenal news day today, maybe it's not such a good idea for the internationals to be played on a Friday as it makes the non-football weekends feel even longer.

I can't help revisiting how the game at OT last Sunday panned out. As conspiracy theories go, I know that this one is rather tame but there are questions to be asked about the team and the tactics and the massacre that was witnessed.

Boring, boring Arsenal?

How tough has this summer been for us Gooners? It is not over yet. I cannot help it, but the transfer window activities during this summer remind me of Ravel's Bolero. Unfortunately, this is not a reference to Bo Derek's question in the film ‘10': ‘Did you ever do it to Ravel's Bolero?

Just happened across this ethereal fish-eye shot of a tractor-wielding bod laying the pitch at the newly built National Arena in Romania and figured it was suitably impressive to share...

The story is that Argentina have just pulled out of a friendly against Romania after 'rescinding the contract' of coach Sergio Batista, a game which was due to be held at (and probably go some way towards paying for) the new stadium in Bucharest.

A quick, highly unscientific poll of the Kickette box room newsroom has revealed that there would be a 76.3% take-up if we were offered the opportunity to become Joe Hart's shirt. To spend the day lovingly pressed against that skin, in public, nothing between us but the sheen of post-training sweat on his bod.

WENGER'S LACK OF UNDERSTANDING by Brandon O'Driscoll I would like to talk about Wenger's inability to comprehend the meaning behind our desire for "experienced players". Every season it is the same; Wenger says he will bring in some experience and to that extent he keeps his word. But how many of these players are still [.
