Carlos Tevez has handed in a transfer requestion to Manchester City with the hopes of joining
Real Madrid in January. This should come as no surprise, given that the blues' captain has
repeatedly spoke of his unhappiness since moving over to the blue side of Manchester.
Whilst at Manchester United, he initially talked of a long career with us, before returning to
Boca Juniors in his 30's.

club. He has claimed it is being homesick that has caused his depression and repeated talk of
retirement, but if that was the case, why was he trying to negotiate his contract at City? Despite

Dan Colasimone is hear to explain who the big boys in Argentina really are.
Estudiantes de La Plata is a small club.
In December 2010 Argentine goalkeeper Roberto "pato" Abbondanzieri announced his retirement from
football. He will be fondly remembered by fans of Boca Juniors where he won six league titles,
three Copa Libertadores, two Intercontinental Cups, two Copa Sudamericanas and one Recopa
Sudamericana. He also won the Copa Libertadores in 2010 as the goalkeeper for Internacional of
Brazil, the Ricardo
J.J. López was officially appointed as the River Plate manager in December 2010 after he secured
13 out of 18 points as caretaker manager after the departure of Angel Cappa in November. He is a
former player for the club, a thoroughbred River Plate legend and a popular choice amongst the
fans. One of his finest moments in a River Plate shirt came in the Superclásico in 1981 when he
scored this

(1989-2010). He spent the majority of his career in the Argentine Primera División although he did
