For the majority of this winter, it looked like second division soccer in the United States was
extinct. Squabbling between the newly-formed NASL and established USL left the second tier hanging
in the balance.
Besiktas consolidated fifth spot in the Turkish Turkcell Super League
with a 4-1 home success over seventh-spotted Genclerbirligi.
This was the first game, Besiktas scored 4 goals, in the one game, this season....
Substitute Hursut Meric looked to have earned the visitors a point when he cancelled out Tomas
Sivok's opener seven minutes into the second half, but three goals in the last 11 minutes secured
the win for Besiktas.

Week 20 of the Turkcell Super League could be the week where the standings could be shaken up.
It featured a top of the table matchup that could vault one team to the top of the table, or the
other team into serious contenders for the league championship. Kayserispor hosted Galatasaray in
the match of the week on Saturday.
The march to the Turkcell Super League championship continues onward this week. A total of three
games were featured on Friday and Saturday. After their match last week was postponed, Beşiktaş
got their second half of the season started with a trip down to Antalya to play Antalyaspor.
Trabzonspor looked to improve their chances in clinching a Europa League spot, as they headed down
to Diyarbakir to face Diyarbakirspor.

in the balance.
The Carolina RailHawks dropped their first match of their young 2010 campaign on Friday night at
Wake Med Soccer Park at the hands of first-year franchise Minnesota Stars one-nil.
Minnesota came into the game with a determination to come out of WakeMed with three points to
their name and that's exactly what they did.
The Carolina RailHawks downed Southern Derby rival Charleston Battery 2-1 in a friendly today at
Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston.
The match, which received limited publicity from either team in advance, was played in front of
a largely empty stadium. The first half ended 0-0, but the RailHawks will have felt they lost the
first half when Kupono Low was tackled hard just before halftime and had to leave the game with a
knee injury.

Railhawks attempt a goal, but fall 0-1 to the Rhinos

Cary, NC (July 27, 2010) – The Carolina RailHawks (6-4-6, 24 pts) fell to the Rochester Rhinos
(9-5-6, 33 pts) 1-0 on Tuesday night. The RailHawks were unable to equalize after an own goal from
the RailHawks' Matt Bobo in the 68th minute.
Besiktas beat Antalyaspor in the 90th minute goal,,,
It was all Besiktas in the match but not enough score from Besiktas,,,
Besiktas first scored in the 58th minute by Brazilian striker Bobo.
But, when everything was going good , Besiktas keeper Hakan Arikan made a huge mistake by not
communicating with his defense cost Besiktas a stupid goal!
