Cary, NC (July 27, 2010) – The Carolina RailHawks (6-4-6, 24 pts) fell to the Rochester Rhinos
(9-5-6, 33 pts) 1-0 on Tuesday night. The RailHawks were unable to equalize after an own goal from
the RailHawks' Matt Bobo in the 68th minute.
The Carolina RailHawks dropped their first match of their young 2010 campaign on Friday night at
Wake Med Soccer Park at the hands of first-year franchise Minnesota Stars one-nil.
Minnesota came into the game with a determination to come out of WakeMed with three points to
their name and that's exactly what they did.
For the majority of this winter, it looked like second division soccer in the United States was
extinct. Squabbling between the newly-formed NASL and established USL left the second tier hanging
in the balance.

The Carolina RailHawks downed Southern Derby rival Charleston Battery 2-1 in a friendly today at
Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston.
The match, which received limited publicity from either team in advance, was played in front of
a largely empty stadium. Â The first half ended 0-0, but the RailHawks will have felt they lost the
first half when Kupono Low was tackled hard just before halftime and had to leave the game with a
knee injury.
