A U.S. Men's National Team comprised mostly of players born in 1993 tied Azerbaijan in a scrimmage on Friday in Duisburg, Germany. U-20 Men's National Team head coach Tab Ramos led the team, which featured eight players in the starting lineup who were age eligible for the 2013 U-20 FIFA World Cup cycle.

*Midfielder Jose Villarreal, a Leuzinger High product, and defender Zarek Valentin, who made 24 starts for the Goats this season, were among 31 players selected for the camp, which will run Monday through Nov. 16 in Germany under Claudio Reyna, U.S. youth technical director.

The U.S. U-20 men's national team topped Group B in CONCACAF World Cup qualifying on Satuday night, defeating Panama, 2-0, on a Kelyn Rowe brace.

Rowe scored both of his goals in the game's opening 18 minutes, finishing assists from Greg Garza and Sebastian Lletget.

U.S. U-20 MNT forward Bobby Wood has lived the teenage soccer player's dream. Having a successful trial at 13 years old and moving to Europe at 14, Wood has made a home at 1860 Munich and graduated to the first team this season. He was called into a camp with U-20 coach Thomas Rongen in April 2010, and has been a mainstay ever since.

GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala (March 29, 2011) – The U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team opened its CONCACAF U-20 Championship campaign with a 4-0 win against Suriname at Estadio Nacional Mateo Flores in Guatemala City, Guatemala. While the U.S. men's national team was attempting to find a way to crack Paraguay's defense in Nashville, the Under-20 national team was busy pummeling Suriname's in its World Cup qualifying opener in Guatemala City.

Paul Kennedy of Soccer America reports on the United States Under-20 national team's 4-0 victory over Suriname in the opening match of the CONCACAF qualification.
The team scored 4 times, and hit the wood work on 3 other occasions in their debut match of the tournament for qualification for the FIFA Under-20 World Championships.

The U.S. U-20 MNT topped Suriname 4-0 tonight behind goals from all three forwards - Bobby Wood, Conor Doyle and Joe Gyau - and midfielder Kelyn Rowe. With the win, the U.S. takes over the top place in Group B and puts itself in good position to advance to the quarterfinals.

In a match that was never close, the U.S. under-20 men's national soccer team dominated Suriname on the way to a 4-0 win in their opening game of the CONCACAF U-20 Championship in Guatemala.

The Americans, whose starting eleven featured Zac MacMath and Amobi Okugo of the Philadelphia Union, came out playing an attractive, attacking style of soccer in their 4-3-3 formation and kept their foot on the pedal throughout the entire first half.

The U.S. U-20 MNT picked up a 3-0 victory against the FC Dallas Reserves today at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas.
The FC Dallas side included a number of former youth national team players including 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup veterans Brek Shea, Peri Marosevic and Josh Lambo and 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup goalkeeper Chris Seitz.

U.S. Under-20 head coach Thomas Rongen has finalized his 20-player roster for the fast-approaching CONCACAF U-20 Championship in Guatemala.
