From the sounds of things, you'd have thought we'd just been relegated. The anger emanating across
the Tottenham community last night and spilling over into this morning was palpable. A 4-1 defeat
to our bitterest rivals, a generally limp display and a White Hart Lane crowd forced into an early
exit.
I was going to do the normal match review this morning but I wake to the news that Bobby Smith
has died at the age of 77.
For those that don't know, Bobby was our Didier Drogba but without the pouting, moaning and
diving. He was also a much better striker. There is plenty of footage of the great man who scored
176 goal for us in 271 appearances.

Bobby Smith played as a centre forward for Spurs as they won the Double in the 1960-61 season,
scoring 33 goals in the First Division and FA Cup that year. Spurs have not won the title since. He
