Well hell. If David Letterman isn't going to ask about the alleged baby momma drama, no one will.
You think Regis is going to go there? Or one of those stiffs on Fox Business News? Hell-to-the-no.
But we did get to see LD taking shots at an NYC taxi on behalf of all of us who have ever had to
deal with a smelly/surly/refused to take a credit card/refused to pick you up/refused to get off
the phone cab driver, so it wasn't a total waste.
Bobby Rhine pimping the GO USA bid, and the latest foreign player rumor.
3rd Degree has learned that FC Dallas will not be bringing back legendary broadcaster Brad Sham as
their play by play man for the 2010 season. Instead the FCD broadcast team will consist of two
former players with Bobby Rhine working play by play and Steve Jolly as the color commentator. Brad
Sham has been working FC Dallas games since 1998 and has done TV work on soccer dating back to the
NASL days in 1972.
Bobby Rhine and Steve Jolley will be broadcasting 220 games on local TV. Fox Southwest and Fox
Sports Southwest Plus will be hosting the local game productions. Keller Webster returns working
the sidelines for TV.
With Brian off being "Hollywood" it's up to Scott and Sarah to guide the Around the League
extravaganza through the ever churning waters of MLS. This week we are joined by Real Salt Lake
manager Jason Kreis and discuss if Bobby Rhine is jinxing his team when they play in Dallas. We
also talk with correspondents from DC, Houston, Kansas City, Colorado, Seattle, LA and for the
first time, Portland.
The playoffs are getting closer but first there are bigger fish to fry. We discuss the CCL
controversy with Jason Davis from the American Soccer Show and spend 18 quality minute with the
great Bobby Rhine. On the phone this week are correspondents from Dallas, Seattle, Salt Lake,
Kansas City and San Jose.
The big news of the week is the firing of Preki and Mo Johnston in Toronto and we are all over the
story, we also discuss a variety of topics with Bobby Rhine and a certain billboard in Seattle. On
the phone this week are correspondents from Portland, Toronto, Dallas, Columbus, Seattle, LA and
San Jose.
Is it just me or is it weird that FC Dallas' Bobby Rhine is just giving away the secrets to the
team's battle plan ahead of #RSLvDAL? I'm probably reading too much into it but this is kinda like
U2 telling you the setlist, lighting cues and the precise moment that Bono will breath heavily into
the mic and say something grand while taking to his knees just before the final chorus of one of
their more socially conscious numbers the day before the show.

Colorado and Dallas finished equal on points in 2002 and were matched up in the first round of the
playoffs. Dallas, by virtue of their 2-1-1 record against the Rapids in the regular season, had
home field advantage in the 3 game series. Game 1 at the Cotton Bowl did not go well for Colorado.
Carlos 'El Pibe' Valderrama scored after 2 minutes but the game was all Dallas after that.
If you like good tactical discussions you'll enjoy this video preview of the 2010 MLS Cup
explained by Bobby Rhine of FC Dallas Communications. He explains what FC Dallas will need to do if
they are to have success against the Colorado Rapids. He also breaks down what the Rapids have done
to allow themselves to reach the Cup final.
