The 2010 season may be only be a few days dead, but the 2011 season has already kicked off with
the Expansion Draft.
The Vancouver Whitecaps and the Portland Timbers added ten players to their initial MLS rosters
on Wednesday as their clubs began to take shape for the 2011 season.

Let's move on from the Sporting KC talk to get back to the expansion draft lists. Today we'll
dive into the conference final losers and tomorrow we'll hit up the two clubs in MLS Cup.
To recap, so far I've covered lists for the following teams: the Chicago Fire, Chivas USA,
the Columbus Crew, D.

The 2010 season did not begin the way that the San Jose Earthquakes wanted. In front of a
capacity crowd at Buck Shaw Stadium, the Earthquakes fell 3-0 to Real Salt Lake in a match left
Frank Yallop hoping to press the reset button on the season.
This was the first time that Red Bulls head coach Hans Backe would take a shellacking in Major
League Soccer. This would be the first time the score would be lopsided against him. Who does he
have to thank for this mess? It would be Luke Sassano as he got a straight red card on a careless
and reckless challenge on Bobby Convey in the 14th minute.

Philadelphia Union kick off a four-game home stretch on Saturday as Philly native Bobby Convey
and the San Jose Earthquakes come to town.
San Jose (5-4-4) has been playing solid soccer thanks to Convey's return to form and the
emergence of forward Chris Wondolowski and rookie center back Ike Opara.
Game time: Saturday, 6 p.m.

So last week Bob Bradley was resigned for 4 years as the coach for the national team. What I
wanted to do was to discuss the possible Quakes members he could call up during the next 4 years.
Instead I went off on my opinions about what happened from the Confederations Cup to the team's
exit at the World Cup.
