I am finding it very hard to come to terms with the fact that one of the top men on the board of

Evra's allegations against Luis Suárez. At this point in time the word Suárez was accused of
using was far stronger than the one Evra eventually settled on as the one he'd heard and if it
could be proved it was going to be hefty punishment for the player.

Yakubu may be Steve Kean's saviour; clear goalscoring opportunities lack clarity; Stoke carry
flame at home and abroad Feed the Yak and Rovers may stay up There were boos at Ewood Park again on

Poor Steve Bruce is a victim of geography
Football management is a bit like ancient Rome. Once the mob turn against you, then it's only a
matter of time before some little Caesar in the boardroom gives you the down turned thumb. Steve
Bruce didn't stand a chance when he took over at Sunderland because he's a Geordie.

Kenny Dalglish's five men in the middle of the park worked hard to snuff out the threat of
City's main threat, David Silva Manchester City started brightly, with the Champions League defeat

You'll Never Walk and Moan
Like many of you, I have spent this season constantly screaming at the telly, swearing at the
woodwork and tearing my hair out at every missed opportunity. Draws against newly promoted teams, a
thrashing at Spurs, poor finishing and lucky wins through penalties and opposition red cards have
defined the past 4 months as a LFC supporter.
Why the FA should be applauded for poppy efforts
Fifa, yet again, has proved itself incapable of valuing anything except financial gain in its
refusal to allow England to wear a poppy emblem against Spain on Saturday. At least the FA did what
they could. England will wear poppies on their training tops while the anthems are played, a wreath
will be laid and a poppy emblem will appear on the scoreboard.
Match Review: Liverpool 0 Swansea 0
Frustration reared its ugly head once more yesterday as, for the fourth time this season,
Liverpool failed at Anfield to take all three points from a game. Whereas the draws against
Manchester United, Norwich and Sunderland could in part be excused by the opposition or the
domination the Reds had, labelled in the ‘unlucky' category, it was the lacklustre performance
that was most worrying as Swansea travelled home with a share of the spoils.
Congratulations, Fergie! Now can you please do all us non-United fans a favour and
retire?
Many eulogies are being delivered on Alex Ferguson's 25th anniversary in charge of Manchester
United. And rightly so. His longevity and record are phenomenal and deserve the utmost
recognition.
In defence of Luis Suárez | Scott Murray
The Liverpool striker has become a pariah in the Premier League thanks to little English
football's strange kind of logic Having showcased his Hand of God tribute act at the last World
Cup, and sunk his gnashers into a fellow pro while at Ajax, Luis Suárez was a ready-formed cartoon
villain when he washed up on these shores last January.

Missed Chances Leave Liverpool Disappointed
Grant Holt celebrates the Norwich equaliser... Similar to the Stoke game and the draw with
Manchester United, it was yet again a story of missed chances for a frustrated Liverpool side.
Norwich fought hard, particularly in the second half and were spurred on by their goal but despite
over 20 attempts at goal and 11 shots from Suarez alone, Liverpool couldn't find a winner.

This was the strangest of North West derbies, though Sir Alex Ferguson selected a starting

Welbeck on his own up front.
