As the non-league season gears up for its climax so, inevitably, do the lawyers, as the annual
courtroom battles begin that could have a significant say on the relegation places in the Blue
Square Premier. From a point of business-as-usual two weeks ago, suddenly the teams scraping over
the final two relegation scraps from the [.
OK, I'm ready to be arrested now This happy chappie streaker had obviously done his research before
taking the plunge at the York City v Grays match at the weekend. Using a simple formula, he had
worked out that t (where t is the temperature in Yorkshire in December) x s (where s is the level

Advertising is a complex beast, something i know all too well these days. The invention of the
internet has revolutionised how you market a product and a brand, and how you can thus create a
romantic lifestyle image for the public to buy into. However, I can catagorically tell you as an
industry professional that the following is an example of exactly how not to go about things.
Graham Westley and Stevenage Borough are still looking for their first win of the season after
being held at home by a very "professional" Weymouth side managed by former Chelsea boss
John Hollins. Changes were made to the team after Tuesday's poor showing against Eastbourne
with Luke Oliver, Daryl McMahon and Calum Willock coming into the side [.
Stevenage have 2 games in 3 days as they plan to kick-start their 2008/2009 campaign, beginning
with a trip around the M25 to Ebbsfleet United. The club from Kent beat Torquay in mid-week
and after winning the FA Trophy last season, look an outsider for promotion this season. In the
games between the two sides last [.
After 2 home wins on the bounce, Boro are back on the road on Saturday when they travel to
Gloucestershire to face Forest Green Rovers. Jim Harvey's side are currently on a bad run of form,
losing 3 of their last 4 matches and find themselves mid table after the opening 9 games. Injury
problems [...]
Weymouth have sacked manager Jason Tindall. The Dorset club sit just five points clear of the
relegation places.
Salisbury City face a young man in the form of life today in the shape of Forest Green Rovers
striker Stuart Fleetwood.
Still only 21 years old, Fleetwood has scored a remarkable 22 goals in 26 games for the Nailsworth
club this season, making him the leading marksman in the league.
In the transfer window, FGR agreed a fee with Crewe for his services, but Fleetwood refused the
deal stating that he had no intention of leaving FGR.
Salisbury City stretched their unbeaten run to eight matches with a goalless draw against high
flying Forest Green Rovers. Top scorer Stuart Fleetwood was missing for FGR.
City put in a battling performance against a well organised FGR side. The better chances fell to
the away side who struck the woodwork on one occasion.

Just as teams in the Championship are stuttering as the finish line for the prize of Premiership
football gets ever closer, so the contenders for the playoffs in the Blue Square Premier are also
doing their hardest to avoid a top five finish, with just half a dozen games to go. Aldershot have
no such worries.
That's 3 defeats, 1 draw, 2 goals scored and 13 goals conceded in the first 4 games of
the new season. Not the start that Phil Wallace was hoping for upon the return of Graham Westley.
Also alarmingly the home defeat to Eastbourne now looks even worse as they have conceded 9 goals
since their visit to [.
After Saturday's shambles at Ebbsfleet, Stevenage improved to give their best performance of
the season so far against Crawley today. Unfortunately though it wasn't good enough for the three
points after a mix up in the Boro box led to Glenn Wilson hammering in the equaliser, but the
performance on the whole gives some hope going [.
Stevenage make their longest trip of the season this weekend when they face newly promoted
Barrow. The 542 mile round trip comes on the back of 5 poor results which has seen Boro take
just 2 points. At the moment Graham Westley's men are 23rd in the table with opponents Barrow in
3rd place after gaining 10 points from the [.
Graham Westley needs points and quickly after the mid-week defeat to Kettering left Boro
hovering over the relegation zone with just 5 points from their opening 7 games. Boro were in
a confident mood going into the game at Rockingham Road after an impressive 3-1 victory at Barrow,
but that will feel like a long time ago [.
Stevenage returned to winning ways beating Burton Albion 4-1 at Broadhall Way after the
mid-week defeat at Kettering Town. A hat-trick from Steve Morison and Lee Boylan's first goal for
the club sealed a good victory against a lacklustre Burton side. I went along to the pre-match
"20-20″ talk with Graham Westley and found out the [.
Crawley went top of the Blue Square Premier table, beating then leaders Mansfield 2-1 at the
Broadfield Stadium. Goals from Adam Quinn and Jamie Cook were enough to give the Sussex side the 3
points. The point at Broadhall Way between us and Crawley, when we weren't particularly playing
well now looks like 1 point [.
Boro won their 3rd game in a row with an impressive 3-0 win away at Forest Green. After 2 good home
wins against Burton and Altrincham respectively, Boro travelled to Gloucestershire aiming to get
another 3 points on the board at a ground where they have struggled in recent seasons to pick up
points.
Boro travel to Essex tomorrow night to face Grays in the visitors first televised game of the
season. Boro have hit some form of late and a win at the Recreation Ground would be their fourth in
a row and could put them as high as 11th in the Blue Square Premier, just 2 points away [...]
It's been a rollercoaster start to Stevenage's 15th consecutive season in the top level of
non-league football. So far, Boro have picked up 21 points and lie in 11th place in the Blue Square
Premier table. This time last season was around the time Mark Stimson decided to walk out of
Broadhall Way to join [.
Boro are on the road again today as they make the trip round the M25 to face old rivals Woking.
Both sides were involved in FA Cup replays during the week, but while Boro made it through to face
Leicester City in the first round, the Cards went out after being beat 1-0 at Stonebridge [...]
After last weeks FA Cup game away at Leicester City, Boro are back in league action this weekend
when they host Northwich Victoria at Broadhall Way. Boro are on a fairly decent run in the league,
winning their last 2 games without conceding a goal. The last league game was the 1-0 win over old
[...]
After Saturday's victory at Lewes, Boro are back in action tomorrow night when they host Grays
Athletic at Broadhall Way. Both sides recorded away wins at the weekend with the Essex side beating
York City 1-0 at KitKat Crescent. Grays, now managed by former Fisher boss Wayne Burnett, are
currently 22nd in the Blue Square [.
