UPDATED The Republic Tigers will face the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats in the District title game
Friday at 6:00 pm in Carl Junction. The Wildcats are defending District champions, winning their
first ever title last year over the Marshfield Blue Jays in their 4th year of existence.
Josh Hamilton was sick. Literally. Saturday night against the Toronto Blue Jays, Hamilton needed
oxygen and an IV after the game. Despite not feeling well, the slugger for the Texas Rangers was a
hero yet again.
With the Rangers down by a run in the 13th inning, Hamilton hit a two-run homer to give the
Rangers an 8-7 victory.
