SEA Games: Thailand 1 - 1 Vietnam
Thailand drew 1-1 in their opening SEA games fixture against Vietnam in Laos. Keerati Kaewsombat
opened the scoring for Thailand in the second half. Vietnam equalised late on, via a disputed
penalty. There was certainly no love lost between the two sides, as the game became more fractious
the longer it went on.
A step in the right direction? After looking like the Rapids would not be making
preseason trips back to England and sister club Arsenal anytime soon, I found this Arsenal blog
detailing a March 1 game between Colorado and The Gunners. Hope Pablo doesn't slide tackle Robin
Van Persie too hard on his comeback game.
SEA Games: Thailand 9 - 0 Timor Leste
Thailand rattled 9 goals past Timor Leste in this SEA Games Group A clash. I only saw 3 of the
goals, which were scored by Apipu Suntornpanavej, Anawin Jujeen and Sompong Soleb (penalty). I'll
add the rest of the goalscorers when I have the info.
Thailand now have 7 points from 3 games, and will be very hopeful of qualifying for the
semi-finals.

Worawut Wangsawad signs for Port
28 year old attacking midfielder, Worawut Wangsawad has become Thai Port's 4th official pre-season
signing. Provincial Electrical Authority were also rumoured to be interested in Worawut, but in the
end he chose to come Thai Port. Wise move son!
He joins us from TTM Pichit, after spending just one season with the club.
Thai Port in for Japanese player?
Thai Port are rumoured to be interested in Japanese midfielder, Masahiro Fukasawa. The 32 year old
currently plays for Singapore Armed Forces F.C.
He started his career with J-League team, Yokohama F.Marinos, before playing over 100 games for
Albirex Niigata.

Wisut and Songsak back from India
Two players who were said to have left Thai Port, took part in yesterdays training session. Wisut
Bunpeng who played a few games for Indian side, Viva Kerala, and Songsak Chaisamak who had also
been over to India, and was on the verge of a move to Mohun Bagan were both back at PAT Stadium.

Jakkrit Bunkham at PAT Stadium
Jakkrit Bunkham is officially a Thai Port player having signed a 2 year deal with the club. The
former Osotspa man told thaiportfc.com that he wants to help the team compete for honours, and
achieve its ambitious aims.

Geylang know what to expect from Thai Port
In an interview with the Singapore League website, Geylang United manager Mike Wong said that
despite not seeing Thai Port in action, he knows what to expect from their AFC Cup, Group H
rivals.
"Looking at Thai Port, a Thai team will always be a Thai team in the way it will play fast
football.
Sarayoot agrees Thai Port deal
Sarayoot Chaikamdee is set to sign a deal with Thai Port in the next few days. His contract with
Osotspa Saraburi doesn't officially finish until the end of December, but it seems that an
agreement has been made to terminate his contract early. He has already started training with his
new team mates at PAT Stadium.

(antigua Intercontinental), por la copa que aún no posee en su palmares.
Se enfrentaba en semifinales al Atlante de Cancún mexicano, campeón de la Concacaaf
(gran
continente). Todo hacía indicar que veríamos una final Barcelona - Estudiantes de La Plata
pero en el minuto cuatro de partido, saque del portero argentina del equipo mexicano y en dos
toques, Rojas nos saca los colores.
Ya tenemos cruces de octavos de la Champiñons League. Si el año pasado fue el Bayern Münich el
equipo que hubo que apalear, este año vuelve a ser un equipo alemán, el Stuttgart. Recordad que

Menuda final. El Barcelona logra su sexto trofeo este año
(porque ya no hay más
competiciones) tras vencer en la prórroga al conjunto argentino de La Plata.
El partido ha sido duro y el Barça nunca se encontró cómodo en ataque con un Xavi muy
neutralizado.
Y es que el premio gordo, el FIFA World Player, estaba cantado. Leo Messi lo consigue barriendo a
todos los aspirantes. El cuadro de honor lo completa Cristiano Ronaldo y Xavi.

No es grato levantarse con notícias como esta: "Juande Ramos entrenará al Real
Zaragoza lo que queda de temporada".
¿Nos hemos vuelto locos o qué? Juande, ese gran entrenador que descendió al Barcelona B a
Segunda B, que "hizo" grande a un Sevilla ya preparado por Joaquín Caparrós, que pasará a la
história como el entrenador merengue que encajó un 2-6, ese mismo hombre ¿es el que tiene que
salvar al club maño?

Haciendo referencia a la entrada anterior "Juande Maños", decir, por si no lo habíais pillado,
que era todo obra de San Inocente, ese Santo que nos embarga por un día y nos hace escribir cosas
que no tienen sentido con tal de intentar engañar a nuestros colegas.
El único "fichaje" que ha hecho el Zaragoza ha sido la incorporación de un ayudante para José
Aurelio Gay.
