If you haven't seen it, the fifth and final chapter of This is American Soccer's epic Clint Dempsey
mini-series "The Game Don't Care" was posted yesterday. You should definitely check it
out if you haven't and if you didn't read the first four installments you should quit sleeping on
it. Personally, I think it's the best & most in-depth piece on a US player this year.
Blogger-in-arms & fellow Designated Player Adam Spangler spent a mess of time in London at the tail
end of last season with Clint Dempsey. They were getting mobbed by school kids and rolling through
SW6 to a soundtrack straight out of Houston's 5th Ward. If only I was there, then it would have
been truly ridiculous.

Part two of Adam Spangler's extended 12-inch mix of an interview with Clint Dempsey is available
now for your reading pleasure. This is kind of the heavy portion of the show with economics and
death playing an integral part of the story. I really hope that once Clint made some money he did

Most blogs have some sort of catch-all title for posts - often used on Mondays - that don't have
any specific focus: 'Monday musings,' 'Quick hits,' 'Morning roundup,' 'Morning kickaround' etc. We
don't have one of a title of that nature and I'm not sure I'm creative enough to come up with
something different in this saturated market.

Boro's recent improvement continued as Altrincham were beaten convincingly at Broadhall
Way this afternoon. Boro dominated the game from start to finish and outclassed a team who just
shouldn't be in this division. Altrincham were always going to put 10 men behind the ball as they
looked to take a point back to Cheshire.

Altrincham are the next visitors to Broadhall Way as Boro look to continue where
they left off after beating Burton Albion 4-1 last weekend. That win would of given the
team a lot of confidence going into Saturday's game and hopefully they can repeat their
performance against an Altrincham side who are already in their customary position of 20th.
