Some inter-network news this morning for you all. As you guys may very well know we here at
Stumptown Footy are part of a much larger, bigger and all around fantastic sports network of blogs
and sites. This works out great for you guys since it means we have more resources available and
more clout with which to get us into sports events and the like.
FC Boro has returned. After deciding to call it a day back in August, the desire to get this
place up and running again has come back after the events of recent weeks. It's not totally back as
it was as I've still got a few issues to iron out with the domain name and pictures etc, but the
blog is back, just as Stevenage FC enter a new era after the departure of Graham Westley.
So this year the Sounders had the best draft in the history of MLS - again. The thing is, our
player scouting efforts are so far above that of the average team, we really should be considered a
separate case. As an example, did you see me lamenting the loss of Mo Johnston? Remember when I
stripped him for Danny O'Rourke and Will Hesmer for a partial allocation?

Sometime during the last week there was this article on the Arsenal website with a few comments
from Benayoun. The Israeli skipper said that he can understand the reasons for not getting regular
starts and was happy to contribute whenever he got a chance.
They say you don't change a winning team and we are on a good run so it is very difficult to get
into the team.

What does it mean to be a fan of the Houston Dynamo? It's a simple question which I am sure
everyone will have an answer to, some similar, some not so much. It begs the follow-up question,
what are the varying degrees of being a fan of the Dynamo? Is being a fan bleeding Orange every
day? Is it attending or viewing as many games each season?
Blog: Why we're on the right track

THFC1882′s Stuart Watts with news of an exciting new book, chronicling

It is with great pleasure that I would like to announce that I am one of the founding members of
the Spurs Writers Club!!
Prolific Spurs author Norman Giller has recruited a team of 45 writers and our first book The
Glory-Glory Game will be published early in 2012!
Chelseadaft - A Chelsea fans blog has become one of the leading Chelsea blogs on the planet. With a
Google PR of 4 and growing it's time to take this website to the next level.
So I am posting an open invite to any companies interested in becoming a main sponsor for the
site.
The site has huge potential and it's an opportunity to work with me in making it the number one!
Decided tonight, in the midst of some serious procrastination, to check on the old blog and see
how it's gone. I'm very pleased to know that my post regarding the average number of minutes of
actual playing time is the most commonly cited post on here. While I enjoyed the momentary
notariety that came with predicting Jorge Larrionda would red card an American midfielder in our
Confederations Cup match against Spain in 2009, I didn't start the site to criticize refs.

Well, this is a bit odd. For the first time in 15 years my morning routine has changed. When we
got the dog my first task of the morning would be to get up, let him out and clean up the mess he'd
made overnight. Given his age he'd kind of come full circle but it's very weird to see the space
where his bed used to be.

Good morning. I woke up late and I have somewhere to be this morning. Funny how you never wake
up late when you have nowhere to be. And it's all my alarm's fault.
I don't know about you but I need to change the sound every so often, otherwise I just get used
to it and I'll sleep through it.
It would be fair to say I've been mulling over the idea of an Arseblog book for some time. I had
thought of releasing a 10 year anniversary tome, with a mix of old and new material, but I've
always had big reservations about the 'old' material. It might be nicely packaged but why would,
and why should, anyone pay for something they can log onto a website and read for free?
Hi Guys and Galls,
Sorry once again for the lack of service from the MLSUK website.
I currently have no internet at home so therefore am unable to post the blogs or updates.
However i will be getting it sorted in the next two weeks and am going to Make some changes,
And i have some nice Ideas for the Playoffs.

We've started a new feature on our Blogs and, for now, we're calling it Rewind. This is where we
pull an old video from our archives that we think was really good, historic, just plain fun or all
of the above.
We'll start with this little gem from 2008 in which we feature current U.S. WNT regulars Amy
Rodriguez, Lauren Cheney and Tobin Heath when they were all just breaking into the team.
What is worse? Admitting that the professional players lack the level of focus and application
to apply simple football theory of defending, or implementing a new defensive routine with a back
four formation that is itself new in compostion from game to game? Which ever the case, what I have
long predicted in countless blogs, is that Arsene Wenger's legacy will be permanently damaged if he
fails to take account of a few basic home truths.
About a week or so ago, I started trying to plan what to write about for the next international
break. I got to thinking it would be cool to write about some of the young players coming up
through the Arsenal system. However, I wasn't sure where to start. I remembered that Martin wrote a
few blogs about certain players back in the day.
Our latest discussion piece features Ben Mayhew, head honcho of one of the best club blogs around,
Greenwich Gull - 'a League 2 blog with an overwhelmingly pro-Torquay United bias'. Since commencing
his scrawlings, Ben has actually hopped on the London Overground to live in Highgate, but retains a
site name that evokes maritime leanings.
A tribute to Laurie Hughes
Tony Barrett blogs about former Red Laurie Hughes, who sadly passed away earlier this week.

Super Fancy Passing Chart
You know why I love writing for SB Nation? Because of stuff like this from our friends at We
Ain't Got No History. Graham basically constructed this fancy passing chart that shows where people
were passing and how successful they were. I'd love to say we'll have something similar here, but I
wouldn't hold your breath.

Kristian Walsh blogs about Liverpool's squad rebuilding work this summer and why it should
ensure Luis Suarez has a smile on his face.

In the 1980's prominent militant Negro Chuck D. rhymed about fighting the power. In the 2000's
milquetoast Negro Shawn Francis blogs about fighting the flop. 1960's civil rights leaders are
either appalled or relieved by this. Either way, flopping sucks.

I still haven't read a single article on Grantland to completion. Hell, I've only even tried to
read one. But I'll try again for a second time later tonight as Carles from Hipster Runoff has done
a Robbie Keane piece today. Not sure if it is "authentic" or if it's will spawn an era of "MLSwave"
on Grantland but it is there.
Well hello all, I am absolutely thrilled to be writing this blog after being head hunted by the

Anyway just a brief little introduction from me here, and I'll give you more information and a
look forward to Arsenal's crucial Champions League qualifier against Udinese tomorrow!

Over the years we have learned that are readers are savvy consumers of soccer media who use
multiple sources to check soccer news, keep in touch with other fans and follow trends in the

other Argentine football blogs across the internet. Every now and then (probably roughly every two
