One of the first posts I ever made was about how official gear from the stores in the USA is
just awful. There's not really any selection and it looks like the merch that is sent here are only
the things that wouldn't sell in the UK. As excited as I am about piggy banks and slippers, I would
really appreciate it if someone would throw us a t-shirt that looked cool.
Great picture find over at The Offside.
Let's get to the other good stuff out there.

I swear to God, sometimes this is JUST TOO EASY.
(Yeah, yeah, I know it's with a "j". Lighten up, Herbert)
In other news, if it wasn't for the fact that the intrepid Jack Bell thought it was solid
enough to mention, you'd have been tempted to laugh out loud at the "Beckham to Join Impact Bid"
rumors which virtually every soccer blogger on the continent babbled on about for days after it
first appeared.
(P.S: Got an email from SoccerPro's Trevor who asked if I keen to do another review of a product
from their stock list.
Which I obliged and here's another piece of product review of the blog - "Adidas Samba Millenium"
indoor soccer shoes.

Now that's the MLS we all know and love, right? Questionable officiating, the playoff race somehow
getting even tighter, the Galaxy shipping six goals while scoring three...the Red Bulls losing.
What's a poor blogger to do when the Parity Police...

The collapse of the newspaper industry comes at a terrible time for a growing league like MLS.
Numerous MLS teams don't even have beat reporters dedicated to them in the first place. Or if they
do, they're the first to go.
Take the case of the struggling Chicago Tribune, who decided a few months ago to drop their beat
coverage of the Chicago Fire by moving reporter Luis Arroyave from covering the Fire to covering
showbusiness (a fitting move for the former FHM writer).
Ah yes, it's the day we've all been waiting for - the return of the Benny Awards!
If you're new to this blog, then you will learn that the Bennies consist of a series of categories,
each with four United players nominated. You the fans get to vote on the winner for each category,
and the winners are revealed at the end of the season.
Looking for that truly one of a kind item? Then go here for the perfect conversation piece for
any Arsenal fan.
It would also make the absolute perfect gift for that very special Arsenal blogger in your life.
Especially one who has an inordinate amount of love for Nicklas Bendtner. And whose birthday was
yesterday.
Heather Nosky is a guest blogger in my college soccer guest blogging series that will be
happening this fall. The series is a way for my Online Soccer Academy players and readers to see
what it's like to be a college soccer player and share in some of these players'
experiences.
Heather is a special guest member in my Online Soccer Academy and just started her
freshman year at Louisiana State University in Shreveport; an NAIA College in Shreveport,
Louisiana.
Hello all. It's been a bloody month since I last posted, and I'm quite ashamed of it actually.
Sometimes, when you write every day, you just get burnt out and feel like what you write isn't that
interesting anymore and just don't really get in the mood to write very much. That's what happened
to me, and I feel like I'm not doing my job as an Arsenal blogger when I go that long without
writing.
The couple links I bring tonight are all solid. In fact they each could have easily gotten their
own posts had I not been working on other things today, including the ground work of a possible new
design for this site (yeah that's a long ways off though). Still each are very interesting and
deserve a full read if you haven't done so already.
"Uzun zamandır peşinden koştuğunuz biriyle çıktığınızı hayal edin! Gözleriniz kapalı
iken sizi öpüyor. Daha sonra sıcak bir his tüm vücudunuzu sarıyor, kalp atışlarınız
hızlanmaya , tüyleriniz diken diken olmaya başlıyor. İşte Barcelona'ya attığım golde aynen
böyle hissettim" Michael Essien.
Did you know that arguably the greatest comedy duo of all time performed a series of shows during a
week-long residency in Southend?
Laurel and Hardy travelled from London Fenchurch Street to Southend Central in August 1952 to
entertain crowds at the Odeon cinema in the High Street.
The pair stayed, for seven nights, at the Palace Hotel (which is now being renovated and renamed
Park Inn Southend) and travelled around the area during the daytime.

This week's Ultimate 11's is new blogger Ashley Straws' Derby County. Now all you tennage glory
hunters probably won't remember but Derby County were a top team back in the day, in fact they won
the old Division 1 championship in 1972 and 1975.
Do you really know your clubs proud history or are you just a teenage glory hunter?
