In the wake of the news that the WPS has been suspended for the 2012 season, former majicJack
and current USWNT striker Ella Masar offers her view of the situation on her blog.
The current (at the time of writing) wikipedia entry for Dan Borislow, the majicJack franchise
owner, should give you a heads up as to where the blame is believed to lie in this little saga.
Man, where do I even start? First, let me apologize for such a long hiatus. These past few
months have been pretty crazy for me for a number of reasons, but I'm back now. If there's anyone
out there that actually still reads this blog, thank you for your patience. This hasn't been a
fun time for me, but things are starting to look up.
Wolves v West Bromwich 1-5. This is the worst result against them in 50 years. This blog will be
closed for new articles until Mick McCarthy leaves his management at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
There's only one man that can save Wolves from relegation and Wolves playing at a half filled
Molineux now.
Regular readers of this blog will know that neither of the two D words in the headline are those
I ever use about Arsenal, or anything connected with this great club. Optimistic and defensive in
the extreme, I'm not one for reactionary anger, at least inwardly (opposition and incompetent
officials are a different story), preferring attempts to rationalise and find mitigating reasons
for the bad days.
Morning all. I'm going to start today with a question. How many times have you heard this
debate?
"Arsenal have the fourth biggest wage bill in the Premiership, therefore should be finishing
fourth."
"But we also have a lower net spend on transfers over the past six years than the vast
majority of the league.
As we prepare to face off in a friendly against the United States next Wednesday, I thought it
would be wise to touch up on a bit of history of the sport in America, where it almost seems like
the sport's last frontier, despite having the makings of s football superpower early on. We have a
lot of Americans who read this blog, and I know questions have been raised in the past about why
Americans call it soccer, etc.
I was not happy after Villa Why? Cos minus 2 penalties and a fluke goal, we played average at
best. We rarely created any real goalscoring opportunities from open play. I am never over
enthused with Arsenal when we don't actually play Wengerball.
When we get those slick passing triangles going, opening up a host of chances.
Regular readers of my blog will know that I like to pick out a video on YouTube now and again to
showcase some of the work being done by fantastic people on there. In the last few days my Torres
post which had over 10,000 hits alone featured work put together on the video channel.
Here I present to you yet another one to have a watch.
And we are back...
Since the last post, I have found a new job and gotten twins so there has been a lot to do. In
between changing diapers and walking a baby-carriage, I have found a moment to update the dear
readers of this blog.
Lets start with the national team. Since beating the Netherlands to make it to the Euro 2012
endgame, we have been absolutely piss awful.
Last month, the Brotherly Game brought news of the first ever official shirt based upon the blog
itself. Live Breathe Futbol's design was popular among our readership and Union fans in general,
but the purchasing process was inconvenient.
Due to this situation, we at the Brotherly Game reworked the ordering system and now provide a
service through our own 'store.
Big blow for AC Milan's title hopes as striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been suspended for three
matches for his red card against Napoli, meaning he will miss the top-of-the-table clash with Serie
A leaders Juventus.
Ibra was sent off midway through the second half of Sunday's 0-0 draw with Napoli at the San
Siro after he slapped opponent Salvatore Aronica in an off-the-ball incident.
It's the CDS and is new from me to you the Chelsea fans all over the world. It's simple, I talk
about the Chelsea news of the day as featured on my blog!. Enjoy!

In recent transfer windows and recent seasons we constantly hear Wenger and the Board remind us
that we are building a team for the future, a club for the 21st century, one that
does things differently promotes from within and doesn't need to pay huge transfer fees to
compete.
Some fans have countered this reasoning (fairly) that without a present the future means
nothing, and that the future has as little guarantee as signing a £50million striker or a
£35million striker depending on which team you prefer laughing at the most.
Devin is slammed and I'm sick (laryngitis). That being said, we're not sure a preview of Everton
will be making an appearance prior to the match. Apologies. What we do have for you, however, are
some excellent pieces on Chelsea's finances.
Someone asked us about the recent release of our financials for the year (June 2010-June
2011).

I have to work with. ( Memo: advertise for a new picture editor.) Welcome to this Celebratory
Edition designed for you to cut out and paste. What a week. I'm almost speechless after Saturday's
performance which is not the best condition in which to write a blog.
(The entry is formulated based on the transcript of the media release issued by Starhub, the
official broadcaster of the S.League 2012)
StarHub, the Official Broadcaster of the S.League, is extending its ‘live' match coverage to
everyone (including non-StarHub subscribers) via frequency 76.
I want to make something clear here as you will see on my blog the focus has mainly been about
AVB and what's happened to Chelsea this season. The point I want
to make is that it isn't just down the manager.
Too many players haven't been pulling their weight this season, just like the beginning of last
season and it's about time they buck their ideas up.
Sounders v Crew Preseason Live Blog
Like a vast majority of preseason matches this game is only being lived blog at the official
team site. This is the first of the Wed, Wed, Wed, series of matches for the first team.

Recently, endless column inches have been dedicated to learned debate over preparations for a
quest to that other side over yonder, resplendent with such beautiful, green grass; namely! -- the
European Championships; known commonly as the Euros, and, on this fair blog, our glorious and most
commonly adopted Italian national team.
I took the shot of Lee Lim Saeng and post in this album and saw the almost identical on another
websiteStraight to the point here that I would like to seek third-party opinion if these two shots
are identical here?
If it's identical, I would like to state that under no circumstance was I ever being
approached by any organization or individual to request to reproduce this picture for any purpose
on prior notice.

It's been a long time since Joey Barton was anywhere near an England shirt, but the QPR
midfielder has today leaked an image of the brand new strip the Three Lions will wear in next
Wednesday's friendly with the Netherlands.
Barton spilled the image via his Twitter feed, presumably after attending some sort of Umbro
preview (We're not ruling out a break-and-enter at this point).

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss out this weekend's potential title decider against Juventus after
having his three-match suspension up-held.
Ibra had been suspended for three matches for slapping an opponent against Napoli earlier this
month, but Milan had appealed against the length of the suspension in Iin order to be eligible for
Saturday's meeting at the San Siro.
Iceland's Steinthor Freyr Thorsteinsson's is quite good at flip throw-ins and he demonstrated
this fact repeatedly in a friendly against Japan. (The Footy Blog has video).
The water bottles on the ground somehow make this picture even better.
Looks like the Andrei Arshavin era at Arsenal is coming to an end as the Gunners have loaned
Arshavin to his old club, Zenit St. Petersburg, for the rest of the season, according to The London
Evening Standard.
Reporter James Olley tweeted Friday:
"Decision made. Arsenal agree to loan out Arshavin until the end of the season.

In part because of the smoke bombs and a few obscenity bombs Dynamo supporters dropped during the
