Rapper gets into an Emirates State of Mind Every now and then one of those stories comes out that
makes you immediately reach for the calendar. However, it's miles away from the 1st April, so it
must be genuine. The Daily Mirror has picked up on the story that Shawn Carter would not only like

Aaah, so that's maybe why he left Inter and Barcelona This is the moment when Ibra casually
introduced himself to teammate Rodney Strasser during a training session with his new side AC
Milan. It looks like a cross between playground bullying and dreadful karate classes as a kid.
Whatever the reason, Zlat has forged a [.

I know in my last blog I said I would sway around the Tackling issue but enough is enough. So
much has happened in the last few days and some of it has been over the top.
Sam Allardyce, Owen Coyle, Harry Redknapp and even Steve Bruce have criticized Mr Wenger on his
comments about referees.
Don't oppose the USA 2018 bid because the Americans are our rivals. Support the bid because in
this case what's good for the Americans might be even better for us [Canada].
The Canadian Call for a USA World Cup
EightySixForever might not be the first Canadian blog to call for the US to win the rights to
one of the two World Cups up for bid, but they are the first that I have noticed.

There are a lot of great things about the women's game, but if there's one thing it could use more
of, it's bicycle kick goals. Of course, when is a bike NOT fun? Never. Since, to our knowledge (and
the WNT Blog is pretty knowledgeable), there has never been a full bike scored in a WNT game, we
asked resident bicycle kick expert Megan Rapinoe (she's our expert because she actually tries them)
who would most likely to score on a bike?
Domestic football season likely to be bleak North of the border Although Neil Lennon was
predictably optimistic following his side's first competitive match of the season, even before the
second supporters were resigned. Celtic were going to go out of the Champions League at the
qualifying stage for the second season in succession.
One day in high school I was talking to my best friend about what we'd do if we became famous
writers. She was adamant that she would write under a pen name. "Wouldn't it be great," she said.
"If you could just sit in the back of the theater, watching the play you wrote, and no one would
know it was you?
What is Individual Functional Movement Screening? Good question. It was the first activity of WNT
training camp so the WNT Blog decided to find out exactly what the heck was going on in the gym at
the hotel this morning. Turns out, in layman's terms, it is tests that measure the right and/or
left side imbalances in strength, range of motion and flexibility, all important factors to help a
soccer player train as efficiently as possible and avoid injury.
Chicago Fire Blog Joins SBN
Welcome to Tweed, and his Fire blog. They get to do a little rebrand, but with even more
coverage planned.
Thanks for taking Freddie...

More blogs on the way - Year of Soccer
Sometimes, and especially when you write a blog analyzing such things, you get WAY too clever for
your own good in fantasy sports. This is even more true coming off a week in which just about
everything I touched turned to gold (at least in Premier League fantasy terms). Now, on the plus
side, even with some stupid moves, I still didn't have a terrible weak (50 points from Drogs and

So McHead is retiring. You probably read that on ________ blog because on a slow news day like
today that is the only thing worth mentioning so far. I would write some glowing, adulatory
exposition on what he's meant to American soccer but how can I top the Lego tribute? I can't, I
just can't.
Continuing on with our 'Dig out your old shirts' campaign we're now giving away a shirt for the
kids. This popular shirt originated on the training ground but became our third kit for between
1998-2000.
To win this shirt, tell us who the youngest player to ever play for our first team is and their
age.
This blog is not going to pass judgement on Wayne Rooney following lurid allegations made by the
gutter press over the weekend. It is hoped the accusations are not true, for the sake of all
concerned. But if the claims are true, then there's no better manager in the game to turn to.
Ferguson is the master of man-management, he famously brought Cantona back from the brink on more
than one occasion

Van Basten, Rooney, Yeboah, Zidane, Scholes... I am sorry. This is the new tekkers yardstick I
promise it's not because i've been keeping it from you. Although I also admit i have simply been
watching it and watching it. So let's get this straight. You're a professional footballer. You look

What, no Carlton Palmer?? 10) Valentino Mazzola Although this is the player on the list that many
will never have heard of, Valentino Mazzola was one of the true greats of the game. Mazzola played

public as [.

Finnish side slump to a new low Take a long hard look at yourself boys. Jaro of Finland are the

We are running a contest to coincide with the Landon Donovan Jared Montz Soccer Podcast that was
released this morning. If you haven't heard/watched it yet give it a listen on our blog or in
iTunes. On the podcast we talked about the World Cup, Bob Bradley, his thought to be $16 million
dollar transfer fee, took some user submitted questions, discussed the children's book The Wild
Soccer Bunch which Landon is endorsing and he described to us his game day routine.
My fellow blogger, Antony Sutton of "Jakarta Casual" warned me before-handed that Indonesian
football is full of surprises and uncertainty with many transfer deals inked in the last minute or
collapsed at the eleventh hour (ask Duric).
And so last night, when I took this picture of Singapore skipper Shahril Ishak (pictured above in
middle) receiving "S.
Scunthorpe vs United "LIVE BLOG: Scunthorpe vs United" was originally

It's easy to know where the focus of this morning's blog is going to be. The lack of a new
goalkeeper at the club.
Firstly, let me state for the record, I am disappointed. I thought it was vital that we bring in
a new keeper this summer and I can't quite understand why we didn't. I don't think we'll ever know
because Arsene is not going to tell us.
Over the last few days, just about every post on every Arsenal blog has been about either Mark
Schwarzer or Manuel Almunia, and most of them have been pretty negative. Well todays Guest Post is
from another new guest who goes by the name of Sagar Vase, and he is in the opinion that, despite

I honestly can't believe that I missed so much of action at Barca. Been away for sometime with
some work. Let me first apologise to the regular readers for not updating the blog.Eventhough I was
tracking each of Barca's event, never got substantial time to pen down my thoughts. The last time I
wrote was about the nonsense of Cesc pursuit and am delighted that it atleast ended for the time
being.
FIFA World Cup trophy
A little rainy day viewing for you, courtesy of the World Cup blog who notes
yesterday brought forth a significant obit: the only player still remaining from the first World
Cup final in 1930. Argentine Francisco Varallo passed away at the ripe young age of 100.

Both expansion clubs for next year have a big day set today. One will be unveiling a sponsor,
likely for their jerseys for next year while the other is set to name their head coach.
The hot rumor is that Alaskan Airlines will be the kit sponsor for the Portland Timbers jersey
next year (we'll have that later today hopefully when the announcement hits).

I was watching highlights of my son team, Atletico Madrid beating Gigon 4-0 and I thought this goal
must be posted into my blog very elegant and powerful goal, kinda of my favorites styles

England are yet to have their post World Cup watershed moment France have installed a
new coach (albeit an appointment that was arranged during the tournament) and held crisis talks,
Brazil too have a new manager, Italy have done the same and even brought back Antonio Cassano.
England have changed little.
By Ronnie Browne Let me start by saying that I think Le Grove is probably the best formatted blog
of it's type there is, there are posts everyday and it's clear and easy to view and contribute to

Many of you will by now have read Daniel Taylor's blog on The Guardian website, in which he aims to
throw some light on the alleged infighting at the City Ground. This is interesting for a couple of
reasons: firstly, Taylor is probably correct in asserting that, while this has created something of
a lather [.
Well well well. The story broke yesterday and has been covered by
THE SUN once again this
morning.
Wayne Rooney has reportedly been at it once more with a "vice-girl" while his
missus is preggers and let's be honest its a disgrace.
To his credit, Scott the Red over at the
ROM (United's biggest blog) has written a decent
enough article about Rooney and what it now means for him and for United fans and the fallout will
carry on for days and weeks no doubt.
By Tony Attwood The issue has been raised a number of times: this blog has gone totally over the
top in praising Arsène Wenger, instead of recognising his faults. Maybe there's something in that,
and if so, it is entirely my fault. So I thought I would go back, look at Wenger, and all he

SINGAPORE, 7 September 2010 - The Great Eastern-YEO'S S.League match between the Young Lions and
Beijing Guoan Talent tonight was abandoned at the 89th minute after a scuffle broke out between
players from both sides.
The FAS takes a serious view of this gross misconduct by the players.
