Hi. Managed to find the very lastest FC BARCELONA TEAM PHOTO for season 2010-2011. The below
picture is the "Gala starting 11" with Abibal, Pedro, Busquests, Pique, Valdes, Messi, Alves,
Iniesta, Villa, Xavi & Puyol. Hope this satisfies the many requests from the Barça fans around the
World. For your info there are Team shots up on Spanish Football Sports Blog posted back weeks &
months back.
Apparently he's joined the Red Stripes.
via a blog over at USSoccer.com:
A surprise and special visit at the hotel this afternoon
when Charlie Davies dropped by to say hello to his friends on the team. Charlie is looking great
and walking on his own. He is returning to Delaware to continue rehabilitation; right now he is in
great spirits and taking things one day at a time.
Source: SFS Blog /Inter Milan had lost Thiago Motta to a red card & was down with 10 men, Mourinho
went up to Barça Coach Guardiola, who was giving instructions to Ibrahimovic & said the following
in his ear:"In normal conditions (without the Red Card) we will be Champions"Portuguese TV did the
"lip reading" service.
ESPN's U.S. National Team Blog discusses the options available to replace Charlie Davies at forward
and also mentions a rumor that Carlos Bocanegra might be on the move from Rennes to St. Etienne.
You can read about it by clicking here.
Rapper gets into an Emirates State of Mind Every now and then one of those stories comes out that

must be genuine. The Daily Mirror has picked up on the story that Shawn Carter would not only like

According to the Daily Mail, although the news was first given by ArseBlog, to celebrate 125
silverware-laden years next season, Arsenal will be using a commemorative kit, just as they did for
the last year ...
It is that time of year again when the LFC Kit rumour mill is in full action. With Liverpool

I personally really enjoyed Vanity Fair's idea to shoot football's biggest stars in patriotic
underwear and nothing more.
From Vanity Fair's Fair Play Blog:
For the June issue of Vanity Fair, Annie Leibovitz set out to capture some of the sport's
biggest stars, including Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo, Ivory Coast's Didier Drogba, Cameroon's
Samuel Eto'o, and Brazil's Kaká.
So if you read this debacle of blog with any regularity you're either a friend of mine, an American
soccer fan or both. And if you are the latter you're probably very familiar with the Santino
Quaranta story. If he had lady parts his tale would make for a phenomenal "Lifetime Movie Event"
but since he's got wedding tackle down there he only gets 7 minutes on Soccernet.
Aaah, so that's maybe why he left Inter and Barcelona This is the moment when Ibra casually
introduced himself to teammate Rodney Strasser during a training session with his new side AC
Milan. It looks like a cross between playground bullying and dreadful karate classes as a kid.
Whatever the reason, Zlat has forged a [.
seguinte forma, onde acompanharemos todo o torneio no blog.

It may be the best soccer/ESPN promo yet.
If this were an journalistic enterprise, and believe it or not I do have a few standards, I'm not
sure I could get away with posting this bit of "news."
Luckily, this is just a blog, so I'm going to post it anyway while making sure to frame it with
serious amounts of skepticism.
I'll make this quick since there is quite possibly a time-sensitivity to this information. The
new season of Yahoo! Fantasy Premier League Football has been opened up. We look forward to
everyone joining in on both the game and all of our fun over here at the blog. The most important
thing for you all to know is that the prices are a bit crazy right now.
Apparently someone named Katharine in Houston has her scousers and mancs all mixed up...and thinks
stereotypes makes excellent internet comment comedy.
The comment was on a Houston Press blog post about 25 Weird and/or Hilarious Soccer Chants. It
seems like these kinds of articles pop-up every four years the week before the World Cup and
typically contain the same chants every time.
I realize that with a headline like that you might expect some overwrought 2,000-word treatise
relating to sportscasting, recessive genes, people who shop exclusively at Whole Foods,
soft-talking and how they all intertwine in some soccer-specific manner. But then again if you read
this blog with any regularity you realize that this isn't really the place for grand exposition.
Lee Nguyen is heading back to Vietnam.
Nike has released some pretty awesome promotional images of the USA away kit and warm up gear. Stay

Right over the past few weeks and as always we continue to see many, many players constantly
being linked to Arsenal; But who are the transfer targets who really could be possibilities not
just space to fill in newspaper gossip columns.
The Goalkeeper Position
Well all the pundits will tell you Almunia is not good enough and so will all us fans, however
we are not the manager.
What a liberty. What a diabolical liberty.
Did you see that poor Karl Henry's sending-off against us?
It was never a red-card. Never.
I mean, going through a player from behind, two-footed with studs showing? How can that be a
dismissal?
And that dirty foreign bastard Tomas Rosicky, rolling around the floor.

Most football fans became aware of the vuvuzela at the 2009 Confederations Cup in South Africa.
The whole world became aware of the plastic horns and the noise they make at this year's World Cup.
But World Cup Blog reader Marcamps has emailed in to point out that The Simpsons featured a
vuvuzela way back in 1997, when Bart got his hands on a "long plastic horn" in the season eight
episode "Homer vs the Eighteenth Amendment".
It should come to no surprise for those who read this blog as we've mentioned it several times.
Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber said yesterday in an interview with the Vancouver Sun
that the league is aiming for the 20th club to be in New York City.
"We are very focused on trying to have that 20th team in New York a second team in New York, a
rival for the Red Bulls," he said in an interview Tuesday.
We're on to the third shirt to be given away now in our bid to encourage reds to dig out their
old jerseys instead of buying the latest strip. If you're undecided, read the thinking behind this
move.
The shirt on offer this time around is from 2002-2004, the home strip for league and FA Cup
winning seasons.
Everytime I check the blog stats, I see that the search for ( & download ) the REAL MADRID PHOTO
is amongst the most popular. I am amazed at the amount of visits that are received from around the
World in search of the latest image of the Spanish Soccer Team. To keep the hungry fans happy, I
have found this very latest picture of the REAL MADRID TEAM PHOTO season 2010 - 2011.
With injury woes plaguing the U.S. national team, fans will be relieved to hear some good news
about one of the walking wounded.
U.S. defender Oguchi Onyewu was in Philadelphia this past weekend for the NSCAA Convention and
spoke with the MLS Insider Blog about his rehab and the progress he has made in recent weeks and
months.
There's an interesting article over at the NY Times Goal Blog that looks at who will replace
Clint Dempsey for the US if he's not fit for the World Cup. It's a good piece, but I do take issue
with the main premise Jeffrey Marcus looks at replacement midfielders (Rogers, Holden, and
Kljestan), but I feel that Dempsey should be playing forward, where he generally lines up at
Fulham.

I know in my last blog I said I would sway around the Tackling issue but enough is enough. So
much has happened in the last few days and some of it has been over the top.
Sam Allardyce, Owen Coyle, Harry Redknapp and even Steve Bruce have criticized Mr Wenger on his

All of us that read this blog consume mass amounts of soccer whether it's on television, the
Internet, radio or, for the fortunate few, in person. But take a second and consider when was the
last time you watched a professional game in person?
For me, it's been many months. The only professional team near me is Miami FC, which was
formerly in the USL.
