Another season that looks completely different to last season, yet somehow the same... its just
another year in the Fantasy Premier League! Some big players have up and gone whilst at the same
time the tough decision hasn't gotten any easier over which key central midfielder to pick. New
strikers glisten with the promise of points Points POINTS, while the likely suspects remain
tempting.
Como que la gente del América se decidió a darnos muchas buenas noticias esta semana, y andan
con todo. Ayer les dijimos en exclusiva lo del rediseño del sitio web. Obviamente, hoy ya lo hacen
oficial mediante un comunicado:

So after a long week of Melo will sign and Melo won't it appears now conclusively that Juve have
struck a deal and Arsenal can't financially and won't match it. So this leaves the door open for
the question who will we attempt to sign now, after our main target has moved.. I shall
discuss:
Blaise Matuidi
This transfers seems to be done on the evidence of things; he is apparently in England,
according to Sky Sports news and his current club St Etienne have signed Fernande's from Man City
(Central Defensive Midfielder) and appear to be looking for another defensive minded player, from
Greece somewhere.
Hi everyone hope you've had good weeks up to this point and will be looking forward to the
Celtic game tonight to probably see a few young guns in action.
But what has caught my eye today is a few journalists predicting Arsenal to be in action on
transfer deadline day and throughout the week prior to it, I'll explain:
The Dail Mirror's Football Spy
From his insider knowledge or it could be what he just made up he is predicting 2 Arsenal moves
in the last week of the transfer window:
Blaise Matuidi
This story has ran for ages and you all know who he is by now so I won't bother with huge
details but he's a Defenesive Midfielder with a great talent.
SFS readers may think that there exists certain favouritism towardsREAL MADRID in this blog, this
idea is far from the truth as it is SFSpolicy to be as unbiased as possible with coverage to all
that is ofinterest. What occurs is that Real has returned to dominate mostmedia headlines with the
return of Florentino Perez as President ofthe Club & its applied politics of upcoming star signings

I'm going to admit right off the bat this blog won't be for everyone. This by far was one of the
most difficult blog posts I've ever written in the three plus years I've been blogging. Much of
this piece comes from the life experience I've had in my...

So many optimism before the game, so many positive comments on our young players coming of age.
But we had to wait for today to judge and unfortunately, many will be asking the same questions
which were asked last season.
Until the 60th minute, you can say we didn't deserve to lose as we could have easily been 0-2
up, but if Almunia decides to kill all the good that was done since then, I'm afraid questions
should be asked on our players and not on the referee or Rooney.
Was this the reason Cooper did not make the 20 man roster?
Well before I start I've got a lot two get through. So this might take a while!
£15 million bid for Melo
According to "News of the World" and the "Daily Mirror" Arsenal have made a £15 million bid for
Brazil and Fiorentina's defensive midfield player, as I already discussed a few days earlier to
this post.
Chelsea's No.1 celebrity fan rages at the injustice of it all Immediately after Chelsea were
knocked out by Barcelona, Tim Lovejoy posted up a video blog of his thoughts on the game (watch it
here). Here are some things that...
Well what a dissapointing end to a good start! Typical Arsenal; control the game and then score
but don't take advantage, by scoring another goal when on top. Then stupidity from Almunia allows
an equaliser, then I'm not even gonna try to explain Diaby's actions. What was he thinking?
Although Almunia was to blame again, he should of collected the ball from the cross.

A lot of you guys out there must be absolutely gutted and @$%&* when it was announced that
Mediacorp decided to DELAY instead of LIVE telecast the Laos-Singapore match.
But, hey, no point of crying over a cup of spilled milk, check out this site
(http://laofootball.blogspot.com/) tomorrow (or today, if you read this post on 10th Dec 2009) to
see if there's any livestreaming of the match.
Word floating around the MLS Combine are some impressive number... at least contractually.
As we often keep track of ex-FCD'ers, today we have a Carols Ruiz update.
This picture of Mexico training there tells me it's close. Damn close.
It has gone down as one of the most infamous fashion disasters in English football kit history.
Coventry City, who wear a Sky Blue home kit, made the now infamous choice of chocolate brown as
the colour of their away strip in the 1970s.
The kit was made in 1978 by Admiral, who also made the England kit at the time, and featured
three white curved stripes than ran from the side of the shirts and right down to the shorts.
I know this is a football blog but the season is over so I have to turn my attentions elsewhere.
Whilst the fashion sense of our players isn't my number one priority, I think there are certain
exceptions to that rule.
Rio, what the fuck are you wearing mate?
Enjoying a lads holiday in Israel, accompanied by that twat Jody Morris, Rio managed to redeem
himself somewhat by taking his United beach towel.
Now before you read this you will be either scratching your head and thinking hmm or .. will be
banging your head thinking we nearly signed De Rossi.
This morning on Wikipedia Daniel De Rossi's page was chanegd from Roma player to Arsenal. Yes
your thinking no big deal but WAIT.
Then for 10 15 minutes Arsenal.
The 90th Minute Soccer Blog is having a contest to give away some free Special 1 TV t-shirts.
Just fill out the form below with your name, e-mail addres, and why you should win a free t-shirt.

Today has been quite a day for news stories reporting Arsenal FC; there has been transfer news,
Wenger's quote's about various issues and stupid newspaper columnists sledging us over and over
again. But let's calm down.
News reports on Huntelaar
It has been clear knowledge for a day now that Huntelaar is not keen on a mover to Stuggart even
though Real have agreed a fee.

As Jon alluded to a few days ago there is a new blogger coming on board on the DC United blog. That
blogger is me. I'm here. Hi.
The Intro:
My name is Chris and I am an avid DC United fan and member of la barra brava. I spend way too much
time online reading, and writing about soccer online.
Shea, Marosevic, Wallace, Lambo and Davies have been called into the next camp.
Here I am, 24 days after my last part of last's season review, putting down some thoughts about
all the news we read about in the last month. I didn't have much to write about lately so I
preferred to stay quiet and let the rest of the team update you guys with news and transfer
rumours. But today, I want to share some thoughts with you, plenty of them actually.
According to the USA Today's soccer blog, Steven Cohen - whose comments about the Hillsbrough
disaster caused all sorts of trouble recently - is being replaced as host of the Fox Football
Fone-In television show by... Eric Wynalda. The same Eric Wynalda who was suspended, and eventually
canned, by ESPN for saying "Jim Rome can suck [.
Crisitiano Ronaldo scored a scorcher against Porto last night en route to Manchester United's
fifth (or sixth) consecutive away clean sheet in Europe, the first English win in Porto and
defeating statistics by winning a game they only had a 16% chance of winning.
You can download the video for the goal here, and read through the live blog here.
We received the following logo by email from someone who says a friend saw it on Chris Creamer's

US National soccer team forward Brian Ching can take a photo of the New York
Red Bulls' under-construction stadium from his seat on the airplane and post it to TwitPic. People
following him on Twitter can see said picture. One of them (me) can take said photo and put it on
his blog and you can see it.
It's the first clean sheet of our Premiership season and it's a very comfortable win the one
registered this afternoon at the Emirates, but unfortunately, there's still a question or two which
will be asked in the coming days.
Many will ask how come Fabregas didn't celebrate the fourth goal, is it an injury or something
else?
Watching DC play the last few games I have been overwhelmed with one thought. No, not that they are
crap.
"Manchester United is my home. Even when I say my heart is here people still make things up.
But this is where I want to play." - May 24, 2009
Question asked yesterday: "When did you know you would be going to Real Madrid?"
"After we won the European Cup I thought there is no more I can achieve here.
Miami FC Defender #6 Zourab Tsiskaridze best known to fans as "Zee" is said to have saved a child
from drowning. No details are known about the incident but we'll get you the full scoop. This
proves Zee is a hero on and off the field. He's also a good free kicker and has already scored for
the Blues.
Disaster averted as Adu is set to move to Danish club Odense for a one year loan.
I was curious what the repercussions of the stomp by D.C. United goalkeeper Josh Wicks on Seattle's
Fredy Montero would be.
Who better to provide the info than the Washington Post, and here's what Paul Tenorio had on Goff's
blog.
Here's a team statement followed by some inside stuff:
Here is the statement:
