I have gone ahead and updated my list of capped Sporting KC players total. This is a list of
players that have played for Kansas City and been capped by their respective national teams at any
time. New signing Bobby Convey, along with Daneil Cyrus and Peterson Joseph are the only new
players to join the list.
Does it make me a guy that after the game was over all I wanted to do was curl up and go to
sleep? Okay, I stayed for a little bit of cuddling and pillow talk, but when it was over I was
done.
In the last few posts I've talked about manifest destiny and how this was our time. But all
along the way I have been bracing myself for the possibility it might not happen.
Start your morning off right with a bit of backheel bliss. Happy Tuesday y'all.

Welcome, one and all, to Pies' regular Friday afternoon video tribute to the true footballing
deities that have graced this hallowed sport down through the years, this week one of the most
effortless, silky and demure playmakers of the modern era: Denmark's own Michael Laudrup.
It's finally arrived, everyone. The day we've all been slogging through summer for. The start of
a dreamy ten-month long season of bliss. The Arsenal are playing again. *add triumphant horn music
when technology allows*
The game kicks off tomorrow, Saturday the 13th, at 5:30pm UK time, 12:30pm Eastern, 9:30am
Pacific.
There was a real sense of expectation in the air at the Sonera Stadium last
Wednesday as HJK took on Dinamo Zagreb in the first leg of the Champions League third round. Few
HJK fans may have pinned their hopes on actual UCL qualification, but many regarded the home team
having at least a solid chance of beating the Croatian champions in the two-legged tie.
Nothing says "wedded bliss" in a time of 50/50 divorce rates like bespoke Seattle Sounders garter
belts. Guys, if she'll rock your club colors on her special day she's a keeper. And ladies, if you
do this you can hold it over his head every time you want him to do something undudelike* like hold
your purse while you shop Anthropologie or go to Duane Reade for feminine hygiene products.
There are a number of players in world football who, for one reason or another, do not enjoy the
kind of adoration from fans that their less 'morally challenged' counterparts do. However, in our
capacity of 'hot bishes of the parish', we reserve the right to perv on any man sporting the
correct combination of abs, tent and thigh action.
Continuing some of my stat updating before tomorrow's opener for India in the Asian Cup, here's an
updated list of Wizards/Sporting KC players and the number of caps they have for their national
teams.
